Hey soompi!

I wasn't sure what section to post this question on since it's tech and art so :S but I was wondering if anyone from Brisbane, Australia found a shop that sells crystals to crystallize your gadgets with? In particular I'd like to find a shop that sells swarvoski crystals like the ones in this link

I know you can buy crystals from art and craft shops but I'm not sure if they will look as good as using swarvoski since a lot of people who crystallize their gadgets use that brand..

anyone with experience can you help? thanks

I have my gadgets crystallized, though not with swarovskis. I think it looks just as good, I think It's just a matter of finding a nice shade and brand. :]

swarovski crystals are nicer than other crystals you would glue on to gadgets because its very sparkly. if you put a plastic crystal next to a swarovski one.. you would see a big difference. plastic is a lot duller. however, if you just want the crystallized look, i dont think it would matter too much. people are just gonna see it as shiny things.. no one is gonna say "thats not very shiny"
hot fix swarovski crystals are really good.. though it costs more and you have to buy a hot pen but it is a lot faster and cleaner. i dont crystallize my gadgets but i work with them in a bridal salon. i crystallized the circumference of a 3.5yd long veil in just a few hours with the hot fix crystals.
