I never do. If you have the money and you're 13 or older, go ahead. =)

Are you a baby? O_O
If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.
I guess it's easier for me to say since I'm in college and my folks are 2+ hours away. I have no choice. xD

i usually call my parents and ask what time they will be home or if they bringing me food.
if too late, then i'll order pizza even though i do not like it..

I can't order pizza on my own even if its my own money. My parents would probably say i could spend the money on something useful. And they would say that if i'm hungry just eat what they cooked.

I don't usually order for myself. I just either eat what's already been cooked or cook myself something

its dangerous to allow people to visit your house without your parents permission.
unless you have super security measures there is a good risk the intruder visitor may try to bash the door down when you open it. this ACTUALLY HAPPENED to friends of mine. the delivery people wanted to rob the house so they charged the door when my friend opened the door to accept the delivery.
it was only lucky that the grandma and servant was in the back of the house so when they heard the screaming they rushed out and helped hold the thin door closed. everyone thought the door whould shatter from the pounding.
so... never accept deliveries without asking you parents permissionf irst.

Well, I never order food because I can't be bothered paying for it.
So that's why we have an awesome supply of rice and spam (:

I just graduated from college and live in an apartment. I think they don't care about me that much to hear about my daily doings
But if I were staying home for a little while and they're gone all day. I would assume they are grocery shopping and will call to see if they are bringing home food before ordering so as not to disrespect them and waste their food. Plus I would prefer homecooking so it benefits me.
Though I would advise ordering delivery with other people present at home. Opening the door to a stranger, and me being a girl, always freaks me out a little. My boyfriend delivers food at his dad's restaurant, I am not generalizing all delivery guys. But opening to a stranger is not always advised in life situations anyway so be wary! If you live in an apartment, I usually meet them at the main door than buzz them up.
