Recently I've been doing covers of other people's covers XD. So if I ask to cover your version... please say yes!!

I decided to cover 5imply_5wt's Chinese version of Taeyeon's If after hearing her version.

I tried looking around for any other male covers of this song to base my singing on but I couldn't find anyone's except KyoHanjin's... but too bad his account was under review at that time ><"

Lyrics were written by 5imply_5wt and JiUYa from zly ifensi.

I enjoyed gutting (throat drying) myself with all that mass falsetto in the chorus.... XD

I agree with Jaeho about the lack of emotion. I'm re-watching Hong Gil Dong for the 2nd time and I wanted to feel the Yi Nok + Gil Dong luurrrvvee! BUT other than that you have a really nice voice 8D.

Jaeho - Yeah emotions is one of my major weakpoints when it comes to singing. Sometimes (and sometimes not) I sing completely well, but there's absolutely no emotions whatsoever. Really need to work on them. And man your voice is richer than mine! What are you on about?.... Unless your term "rich" means something else...

Anyway -- you have a very soft voice that's pleasant to listen to
I agree on others about emotion but I think that's obviously one of the hardest things to work on since people usually focus on their technicalities making sure they have the right pitch and whatnot...

Man you have a nice rich voice...I like it lots ^^. But like what everyone said.....it could use more emotions and maybe more shift in dynamics.

Sue: My Shoehead suesue~! Yeah~~ Recently I've been working heavily on improving my pitch. I was aiming at square pitches (as in, no rise when singing each note) LOL. What this did instead was make me lose a lot of "emotion" from singing. Actually my singing was from the past always "emotionless" and "tasteless", but I guess I made it worse ~~ ><" Thanks for the pointer!! I'll work on it!! I agree, when you work on emotions, pitch tends to go poor (messy, not clear/clean), but if when I work on pitch well, emotions run dry ><!! You should HELP me!! You're an awesome singer!! I'll love to take lessons from my shoeshoe~~


Mr. Minigene Kyo Hanjin: I really envy your direct approach to singing~~ Hence why I usually always listen to your threads (if I didn't reply to any of your threads, that means I must of been off soompi for a few days ).

I don't know why you and Jaeho say my voice is rich, I think it sounds pretty normal. Actually I'm not sure what rich means but it doesn't matter, something good is something good
Yeah, I'll definitely need to work on those emotions, I noticed your work definitely has awesome emotions! The dynamics issue was due to heavy compression I think. Because there's a lot of falsetto, but also, a lot of full voice, I was lazy and ran a HEAVY COMPRESSOR throughout the chorus sections. But I'll keep that in mind and try not to do that again LOL.
