I'm looking for a new phone after my old one broke and I narrowed down the choices to the Samsung S5230 or S5233. But the thing is that I don't know what the differences in the two phones are. Appearance-wise, I think that they look pretty similar. .
Does anyone own one of these phones and could someone give me reviews on one of these phones?
I'm currently on ATT network if that helps, but both phones are quadband to my understanding.

The only difference that i've found online is that the S5233 has an inbuilt stylus whereas the S5230 doesn't
I was thinking about getting the S5233 but i've found out it's other names include samsung star or tocco lite, my bro and my friend both have the original ver. of it and they both agree with me that it's sucks.
On a personal opinion it looks nice esp. in white but it's cheaper than the original model it's based on (which sucks already), so it's not gonna be any better than it.
If you're on a budget, I suppose it's either that or the cookie. If not, get something better, try youtube for reviews I think I saw a couple

i am in HK now and plan to buy one cause it's one of the cheapest phone here that's a touch screen. lg cookie is a bit old so i rather not get that.

the difference is that s5230 DOES NOT have WIFi but s5233 does.
otherwise, they are identical in appearance.
I am using the star 5233 and i like it very much. mine is pink and i love how glossy it is unlike the pink LG Cookie I had.
The touchscreen is very responsive and all the widgets are super cool and useful. There are so much more widgets than the LG Cookie and LG Renoir has. From my experience the touchscreen werent as responsive on the Cookie and Renoir as the Star.
I am using mine unlocked, on a Tmobile network. Connectiing to the wifi is really great as well. Websites load fast.
