I use both imeem and last fm. Imeem is great, because it updates every Tuesday with new music albums. Tuesday is usually the day of the week that artists release music. Last fm is better to discover obscure/indie artists, where as Imeem is better for mainstream artists.

I used to go on purevolume during high school toos. Now, I try going back and listening to those bands. They sound too emo for me. I still listen to Yellowcard though ;D

Now, I listen to Pandora. Just put in my favorite band's "station" and I get to hear artists similar to them. I like it.

It's a tie between Last.fm and Pandora. I love both, and they're both amazing resources

I'd say last fm.

Pandora is great and all
but a lot of the time they don't know the artists I'm looking for
and when they do, the ones they suggest just don't cohere to the band I typed in.

I like last fm too, because they have a lot of the artists I like
plus, there's more that they rate on similarity.

Myspace is occassionally good for keeping up to date with a certain group. I use lastfm for half decent recommendations. I use allmusic sometimes for new stuff or just reviews. Pandora is real good though. I use the iTouch app.

Imeem because I use it the most of those options. But I think Youtube is quite good too.

i also use mp3.zng.vn but its not very popular. its only popular in vietnam
