nope I would do the same thing! Though I am a lot more cheap than my boyfriend. I think that's reasonable! Unless you always used to call each other, he might be a bit upset because he can't talk to you as much, but still I would do it because...it costs less money. An money's important, right?

You aren't being cheap at all. In fact, I already find it admirable you got a new plan to talk to him more. He's being selfish and should be grateful at the effort you're putting in to talk to him more. If he wants you to spend more money to talk to him when you've already done more than enough, I don't think you should be with this guy. Then again, it's easier for me to say because I don't know him and I'm not in your shoes.

But really, if he doesn't want to comply, tell him too bad and that he should be grateful. I hope you don't end up getting an even better plan than you have because he'll see all of the effort you're doing and end up asking more of you (but with other things). It's just a cycle you have to break. If he doesn't like that you're not doing what he wants, don't stay with him.

I generally tell people not to call me before 7pm anyway. my boyfriend can suck it up.
