LEAFS FAILED ME BIGTIME. GOODNIGHT SOOMPIERS.
just don't go killing yourself over it, Will.
I don't know..these games are good to watch and all once in a while, but..after a team goes up 6-0 in the first period, the rest of the game is usually a bore..any other goals don't really matter that much anymore after that. Fun to play in, I'm sure, but not so fun to watch.
but wow..Carolina losing to the Caps..

LOL i felt bored after the canucks scored 6 too. I was like OK WE WON! When a game is close you get the suspense of a good game.
exactly
which is why I didn't really like the Canada vs Russia game in the World Jrs. I got quite boring after a while. I mean, there were the occasional good hits, but...just not enough excitement.

Q: "Did you hear the Leafs have a new Chinese coach?"
A: "Win Wun Soon."
Q: "What do the Leafs and Warren Beatty have in common?"
A: "Nothing. Warren knows how to score."
Q: "What do the Leafs and Blue Jays have in common?"
A: "Neither can play hockey."
"Leaf goalie Ken Wregget was so depressed after blowing a 6-2 lead he jumped in front of the Toronto team bus - but it went right through his legs."

The best suspense game this season was the Calgary vs Vancouver one a couple games ago. WOW! I was jumping off my seat till the very end.
a couple of the calgary/van game were pretty good this season. even when we lost during the shootout. i mean it was a good 65+ mins of hockey.

lol, the winner got 2 tickets. Something tells me he was facing a loss that day.
hmm, you know, I'm actually hoping for leafs to get out of the playoffs and maybe get lucky to grab a top 5 pick like Niklas Backstrom or Jordan Staal. We got a good young supporting cast in our core, but we need an elite player. I don't mind not winning, since we havn't won much in the past couple decades, but if we suck for a little while just to get better in the future, I don't mind.

If anyteam should be disappointed, it should be the Montreal Canadiens. I thought they would be a 4th/5th place team in the conference but what a joke they have been. First losing to Calgary while playing half heartedly and then they didn't even show up against the Canucks.

so..how about the Robyn Regehr goal last night eh? I thought that could easily have been called off citing it as a kicking motion
how about this hit?

ya, the regher goal shouldn't have counted. But the flames woulda won the game anyways, it was pretty much a one sided game with few chances goin to the sabres. and what a hit!!!
