$4.25 million per season for 5 seasons is too much for Kaberle who hasn't proven he is one of the elite Dmen in the NHL. He's good but not THAT good. He's paid more than guys like Chara, Redden, McCabe, Jovanovski, and the list doesn't stop. This is the exact type of money mismanagement that has crippled the Maple Leaf organization for the past 10 years.
