Yesterday's Flames loss still comes as a shock to me. Probably like many other people, I stopped watching the game after the ducks got their 2nd goal that night. I just finished reading multiple articles in the Herald on their loss yesterday night, and I guess the Flames just lost their fire. They just weren't playing aggresively last night, probably because they were scared to get penalized. Everyone saw the ducks as a pushover, and got hyped up in the media that we were naturally going straight to the Battle of Alberta without thinking about game 7 with the ducks. Still, I can't believe so many people booed at the Flames in the 'dome yesterday
I wonder if people will be taking down their Flames flags today, the ones that clip on to your car windows.
That'll be the end of my hockey season; I don't cheer for any other team other than the Flames. Till next year~

anyways, in the regular season the Flames weren't very good in offense in the first place, Kipper kept us up there
We have good players, but there isn't chemistry between the lines to generate enough offense and Kipper alone can't win the game for us...game 7 was a pathetic game, I didn't know what they were doing, chasing and dumping, the game went by so slow...like 3 shots on goal in the 2nd period??

i hate bandwagoners in calgary who suddenly think FLAMES SUCK because they failed to advance. losers, don't jump on the wagon in the FIRST place if they suck so much. as for the flames, sutter is a genius, kipper is amazing, iggy is the best... im STILL gunna sport my flames jersey and my flag will STILL remain on my car until they break. the team has TALENT, theres no doubt... phaneuf, lombardi, iginla, mccarty, langkow etc.... all they need is CHEMISTRY. can't wait for the 07 run for the cup. sutter WILL make some much needed changes and flames will be unstoppable. GO FLAMES GO!

i agree with you. even tho they lost...they are still my fave team!
i also agree on the chemistry thing..they didnt seem like they had any...the only 3 that seemed like they played were kipper, iginla and dion!
