What a nice move by nonis. Unless...... Luongo has one more year in his contract and what if he doesn't sign with Vancouver long term? Hope he does. But this will be great. Canucks traded for the 3rd best goalie in the NHL for, a underachiever forward, a slow improving defensemen, and a borderline starter. We didn't have to give up the future of this team like Bourdon, schneider, etc etc. We didnt even have to give up our first pick. We also got a great young defensemen who is rated to be a top 4 when he is in his prime.

Cloutier is gone because the Canucks cannot have a 2.5 million backup. He might be traded for a right winger to fill in for the 2nd line with Naslund and maybe morrison if he is not traded.
