Gagne is one of the uprising superstars in the league, he just came off a career year and is still improving...Philly wants to stay young and under the cap, the last thing they want is a guy with Naslund's salary. They are grooming Gagne to be next leader there. I remember they didn't even trade Gagne for Iggy back then so y would they get Naslund? he's definetely an untouchable.

If a trade was to happen between van-philly...ur looking at getting a prospect like J. Carter or Richards and some draft picks, much like the Pronger deal. Still highly unlikely tho b/c Philly has enough trouble paying Forsberg at 5.75mil/yr, Hatcher and Rathje at 3.5mil/yr and Primeau at 3mil/yr. In other words, Bobby Clark must be out of his mind to let that one thru.

Not sure about the Morrison-Havlat deal. Morrison himself is making $3.2mil/yr...still too pricey for Ott. budget especially for a 2nd line center. And Havlat prob looking for $4-$5mil/yr so Nuck's will be adding to their already tight payroll or basically saying bye bye to A. Carter at the same time.

Hey, they are jsut rumuors I heard. Dont go all out on rumuors. I only added gagne and Richards and Carter because that is what all the rumuors has been saying. I just found them on Eklunds and Canucks.com. And to add to that, Gagne just rejected a 4.5 million long term deal with the flyers and is looking more high in the 5 million range.
