I do agree that your cockiness is, to a large degree, the problem with your attitude. Since you won't stop, you leave me little choice. Everything could've stopped, you could've just let everything go, people were already moving on, but you just had to keep picking at it, and wouldn't let it go.
temporarily closing.
Okay, I'm going to reopen this now, but Mr.FrostbiteIceSkater, you're going to have to stop picking fights and pesky arguments with the other members here. If your attitude doesn't change and you're still creating problems, then I'm going to have to ask you to not post in this thread again. Everyone just wants to get on with it, so let them.
Enjoy, all.

what the deuce? Are we finally getting assistant coaches?
Edit: Did the Caps sign Brashear to a deal to protect Ovechkin? I thought Ovechkin was pretty good at protecting himself in the first place..or are they just trying to toughen themselves up?
I just realised we don't have any Caps fans in here o_o

U guys think you know a great deal....hahaha, especially Aznbananna. Anyways, I'll pay you all $100, each and every one of you, if Calgary doesn't make the Stanley Cup Finals again. My prediction is it will be Calgary versus New Jersey/Ottawa for the CUP. My words are set in stone now for you to marvel at later on. And to the boneheads who keep making terse remarks about Calgary only being as good as Kipper is, well you don't know how complimentary the Flames D-core and team style of play is to Kipper's play. The two are not mutually exclusive in terms of creating success, they go hand in hand. They may need my ability to do Sedin esque backhand saucer passes, but hey, it works, and you idiots that don't play the game don't APPRECIATE squat.
I am the most skilled Asian hockey player in Calgary (Euro skill with Canadian grit)
*moves in my repetoire include, the toe drag, the dangle, the Konstantin Puschkarev spread eagle stutter dangle, the modified Marek Malik-esque pass, the Milan Hejduk yo-yo pull, the Paul Kariya first step, the Jagr inside out behind the "d"s back, the Datsyuk-Turco move, the Afinogenov acceleration then full stop break away move, the Dougy Weight/Alexei Zhamnov breakaway from the side & cut across backhand into empty twine move, the Alabama Criss Cross move ala Tony Amonte and Krivokrasov (with my younger bro), the Danny Alfredsson curl, the Savardian spinaramma...and much more.*
I'm moving out to Vancouver in the future, and I can't wait to see Asians on the rinks over there, because in Calgary, it's me versus the white boys! The Asian girls downtown marvel at me skating in the Olympic plaza during the winters and just take pics of me on their camera phones and say I gotta show this to people!! ahahaha. oh man, we should have a soompi game! NOT TO MENTION I SKATE LIKE SCOTT NEIDERMEYER blended with OLEG SAPRYKINS JUMP START and AGILITY. I skate in public places just to have the people gawk at how good this skater is for an ASIan. ahahhaa.
Outside of Jonogun who looks like he plays, no one knows these moves on this board, because they just watch. ahhaha, I'm so skilled, like a flower in a bed of coal.
You know, I really want my $100... or at least for this ass to come back and admit he failed.
Put the money on the mouth as I always say.
Leafs better get Peca or Carter

I have a feeling my every move is being watched...hence, I should publicly express that I am happy and living peacefully, and harmoniously with other fellow friendly Soompiers under the communist party of Soompi.com

LOL I remember this post!!! Has this guy posted since? $100 WOULD be be nice =P.
And what role do the 'nucks have for Taylor Pyatt? He's not our 1st or 2nd RW is he???
When I read Taylor Pratt, I was thinking of Pratt and Taylor on the Team 1040.

btw dark, i checked and it seemed like they traded him cuz of roster and salary. He'll be getting around the 1mil+ area.

yeah..I guess with this signing, there's even less of a chance we'll be seeing Trevor Linden again..
but really, can't we save some of that money and sign Carter instead? He's not worth 3 mil, but he's at least worth a raise..

Carter is more or less a 2.5mil player. IF JFJ signs him for 3+

Pyatt can play on the right side too. Bertuzzi was a LW but played on the right side for most of his career. I also saw some of his highlights on NHL.com, just search up his name and you will find them. The goal he scored against Ottawa was O_O. He snap shotted it top right corner. Then he got a loose puck and roofed it back hand against philly. But I don't know if he is good or not. But he sure can finish.
I don't think he's ever scored more than 15 goals in his career in a season..
