Opps, Raymond plays LW but he is a speedy guy who is probably one of the strongest skating prospects in the world. He has good lateral movement and great hockey sense but the only drawbacks on him is, He doesnt have good hands and he is quite small for his 6'0 height. He is a hard worker so that is good.

Today on the Pratt and Taylor show, Don Taylor that is. One of the best sports news broadcastors in the world. Featured in EA NHL 2001-2003.

They said that the Gagne rumour with Naslund is alive. That is the reason why Gagne is still unsigned to a multi year deal.

Bobby Clarke might do this deal because they have lots of Prospects coming up who will demand big money soon like, Richards, Umberger, Carter, Pitkanen. Naslund will retire after this contract which still has 2 years so it should be good for the Flyers. Another reason is that Naslund and Forsberg are best friends and would love to play with each other in the NHL. Remember when Forsberg had Sakic as a linemate? Sakic had one of the purest wristshots ever in the league. So who has the 2nd purest wrist shot in the league? Naslund.

SO START THE RUMOUR TRADES

I say, Naslund + cooke + 2nd round for Gagne maybe Knuble can come with it too

Naslund playing on the same line with Forsberg would be sick...

Yup, When they were at MODO. They each lead the league is points. 1-2 punch. This is a reason why Bobby Clarke might do the trade. Having 2 friends who have such great chemistry is a built winner. Especially when they played together since they were kids. Sedins are like that and they rock.

Some reasonable rumours from the CANUCKS FORUM

Naslund + king + Jesse Schultz + 2nd round

for

Gagne and Knuble

Philly gets = A superstar and 2 Prospects who have 2nd line Potential, even 1st if they tried and a nice draft pick in a strong draft year.

Canucks gets = A superstar who will be entering his prime soon and a down low scorer like Anson Carter.

Gagne Morrison Bulis
Sedin Sedin Knuble

2 solid lines who can score and play defense.

I still have no idea why Canucks got Bulis, even though he had some good stats, he was so useless to our team

i havent seen bulis play but i think we got him cuase hes a good two way player and so he fits into nonis' defense first philosophy

plus you never know.. he was playing on the third line and so could probably show his potential with more icetime

>_> I'd seriously fear the Flyers when they face the leafs..only thing is that their D is slow as hell and Raycroft will prolly be lit up every period facing them.

I think Gagne is too overrated because his stats are inflated by Forsberg. You gotta remember, w/o Forsberg, Gagne isn't a elite talent, he's more like a very good player. I remember he puts up bout .68 pts w/o Forsberg and like 1.3 w/ Forsberg. unless the Twins combined are like Forsberg, i have my doubts that Gagne can replace Naslund. But thats just me.

Gagne aint really a playmaker. He doesn't get assist in bunches or regularly. He is a scorer. When he played with Primeau back then in 02-03. He had 33 goals. That was back in the clutch and grab time. Also, he didnt play with forsberg all season long. Forsberg was out for 29 games.

I know he's a 2 way scoring forward...Check out the stats when Gagne isn't playing with Forsberg, there is a huge drop in prodution. I just believe that Gagne just isn't worth Naslund. Naslund no matter how you look at it is still an elite talent, one bad year does not make a career. Gagne never approached his current level of productivity untill he played with Forsberg. I think you could expect a lot less goals from Gagne, like around the 35-45 mark if he plays with the Sedins. Not the 50+ goalscorer he was with Forsberg

The thing is. Naslund is decling, yes he had an off season but he is way pass his prime now. He is 34 right now and will keep declining in skills. We would rather have someone who is reaching his prime then someone who is declining.

I think the sedins can make him into a 50 goal scorer. Did you watch Carter last year? I can count around 30-40 where he shouldve made it in but fanned or missed the net. Imagine someone who couldve made those. You are looking at a 60-70 goal scorer. The sedins are about to reach their prime and will get better. As long as they play together.

For once I agree with Aznbanana, Simon Gagne is indeed a second tier complimentary star player. He's not elite, although yes, Naslund is older, but do you as Bob Clarke go for the CUP while you have Forsberg? I would do the Gagne-Naslund deal if there were a good prospects thrown in there on Vancouver's side, and a role player plus grade b prospect thrown in on Philly's side, like Umberger.

In other news, Rucinsky signs with St.Louis, their looking improved. Crap look at St.Louis's top 4 d pairing, it isn't that bad now....Go John Davidson go...

Mckee Brewer Guerin Weight Rucinsky
Backman Jackman Tkachuk Cajanek Sejna
Woywitka Lynch crap crap Drake

Hey by the way, who here has NHL 2006 for PS2 ONLINE?????? Wanna play?
once upon a time I was told politely by a kind man: "the reason why people don't seem to be on your side is because your attitude is foul. It's not what you say because you don't actually say anything explicitly offensive, but the air that comes off of what you say can be quite offensive, and some of it show veiled aggression"
