(2) New Jersey Devils vs. (4) Ottawa Senators
(1) Detroit Red Wings vs. (5) San Jose Sharks
(2) Anaheim Ducks vs. (3) Vancouver Canucks
(1) Buffalo Sabres vs. (6) New York Rangers
I wonder if the Rangers break was too long, but if they're as eager to get back on the ice and keep their streak going, I'm sure they can take out Buffalo. I know, I know, most of you are saying the Sabres crushed the Rangers during the season, and your right! But 3 out of 4 games Weekes was in the pipes, they were all close games or high scoring games on both sides, and their meetings ended before the Rangers started sizzling! From the looks of round 1, I think the Rangers will take this one in either game 6 or 7^^
(2) New Jersey Devils vs. (4) Ottawa Senators
What can I say? Brodeur is always on the top of his game, and Emery has been playing the best he's ever played! The Devils have a well balanced offense as well as the Senators do! I think the Devils will also take this in game 7. The Senators have always proven themselves to be contenders, but always fall short^^ Sorry folks!
(1) Detroit Red Wings vs. (5) San Jose Sharks
Haseks dominating! The Sharks are swimming! I can't say too much about these since I don't see many west coast games, but I think this will definetly be a game 7 matchup^^ Flip a coin!
(2) Anaheim Ducks vs. (3) Vancouver Canucks
The Ducks have been strong all year and in the playoffs so far, but I think for this matchup, the Canucks definetly want it more.. After a grueling 7 game series in round 1, I don't think the 'nucks are gonna let up, not to say that the Ducks are gonna be easy or anything^^
I guess alll the games have a good chance of goin' to 7 games^^

but my picks are:
Buffalo in 5: im predicting rangers will be shaky in this series
Sens in 7: ive been flipflopping on this one.. but i think this will be the sens' year and theyll find a way to beat brodeur
Sharks in 6: i think sharks have better depth and theyll be key to winning in this series
Canucks in 6: no cooke and no kesler and more traffic in front of luongo.. but theyll be able to pull it out

I had no idea there was so many Canucks fans here at Soompi.
Nice cuz I've been a "lifer" I so damn happy we got out of the 1st round.
I think we might of lost Salo tho which sux cuz wee need that/his canon.
I hope the Dux won't beat on us too much, but I know thats unlikely.
They've been beating up teams all year.
If we can keep it together we'll be alright.
Are PK is tops in the league and the Dux have the most penalties.
GO NUX GO !!!
IN LOU WE TRUST!!!
Re: underdogs...
Calgary had a better team and goalie, they just choked like usual. Kipper was and is better the Habby
Same with Edmonton. No excuse they choked.
Carolina was a huge underdog last year...
