NPB-XK: The draft got pushed back by a week because Yahoo said we need one more team So I'm still nervously waiting for next Sunday..hoping I get at least a couple of guys that I want. Erik Johnson's supposed to be a good rookie this year, so I hope he works out well for you.

I did the same last year, with the other prospect Matt Carle in the last 3 rounds... It was totally worth it for me...

As for Labarbera, I think it's gonna be 50/50 with Cloutier... I didn't understand why last year, the coach (Marc Crawford) always counted on Cloutier after losing 5 games in a row with him... HAHA! Garon was way better... Too bad he's gone...

Yeah Mike Smith is still Turco's backup... I'm the one who has Turco... I was almost last on the draft! Like... 13th place / 14...
Not a chance for me to get Heatley haha! He was gone on 2nd pick! So you better be 1st or 2nd to get him...

Turco was my 1st pick, Martin St-Louis was my 2nd... That's what I'm stuck with...

I took Bergeron very late in the draft... All GMs were ignoring him... HAHAHA!

21 points in 23 games with the Islanders... I hope he could keep that pace... Up to Lidstrom's level hahahaha!
His stats with Oilers killed him a little bit... That's why he was low in the draft ranking... Good thing many GMs in my league didn't do their homework on that one...

The canucks finally have a future in their hands. Grabner, Simek, Hansen, Edler, and shannon. Great players for today's game as I didn't watch last game but these guys all played with confidents today. Especially simek who even fought in his first NHL league game.

Who can forget about schneider, This guy will be a great #1 in the future and heck, I might push it and say he will be a great franchise goalie too.

Well schneiders trade value is increasing by every game he plays. We will have to see.

Couldn't blame him on the Souray shot tonight, but the other goal he let in, he really should've stopped. I'm glad the Canucks pulled the win with 2.5 seconds left, but they really do need to tighten down defensively. But hey! I really liked the way Raymond and Shannon played! Bourdon...not so much..

i'm thinking of dropping erik johnson for cam ward, seeing as i need another goalie to fill up all 82 games for both slots, but then seeing how schneider is injured, i might have to leave johnson in, then i thought of dropping backstorm, but he's playing on the line with nylander and semin , so i should probably wait for the season to start then make my move eh?

Usually, you should be having 2 starting goalies and a 3rd one to back you up and fill 164 games (overall for 2 goalies) at the end... Because every goalies in the NHL don't play 82 games HAHAHA...
Now you seem to have only 2... But it's up to you if you wanna pick a 3rd goalie later... Cam Ward is a very good one if he's available... He's supposed to improve this year...
But yeah it's up to you and your strategy... I don't know how it is in your league so... Can't help more ...
You can remain like that and if you're not satisfied in the first 10 games of the season, you can start to make a move by then... Let's just hope those players in the waivers are still available...
