Glad to see we have a couple of disagreements but the Sens over Pens one baffles me. Now to see who turns out right.

yeah i know what you mean.. i just love to pick the underdog sometimes.. that's basically it tongue.gif

with the Canucks getting Hossa.. i think it would be unbelievable to get him but I'm not a big fan of spending that much money on one player (except Luongo). Now, getting someone like Rolston I think would do wonders for the club.. he's got a big shot and he's got some leadership capabilties which is another thing we're going to be lacking especially if Linden does officially retire. I've seen Malone and Jeff Carter thrown around on CDC too.. it would be awesome if we get those two but i doubt we'll be able to snag them away.

one can dream though:

Rolston Carter Malone
Raymond Sedin Pyatt
Sedin Morrison Pettinger
Burrows Kesler Rypien

Ohlund Salo
Mitchell Bieksa
Edler Miller

Luongo
Sanford

Yay, go Flames!!!...I hope they'll win again tomorrow.

I watched the game...
it was pretty exciting! ^^

^haha no
but i will admit i'm one of the "guests" that's on cdc a lot and read most of the threads (and make the boards lag) haha. there's some pretty hilarious topics on there sometimes
but i browse some of the other teams sometimes too if they don't set it to registered users only.
y..do you have accounts on nhl team forums?

yay pens!!

a scorer like Hossa would be awesome for the Nucks. yet I can't imagine Nonis signing a 7.5 million deal even though we have lots of cap room

lol!! i used to do the exact same this for a year... laugh.gif
but then i couldnt control myself and got one a couple of weeks ago..
and youre right about the topics on there ..some of them are really funny to read tongue.gif
and i also go on other team forum to read what they have to say about our team.! rofl! ^^'''
-----
and as for signing of Hossa goes ..there might be a possibility huh.gif

Has anyone heard any news regarding which Canucks are leaving? I really want Linden to stay! He's like, the pure essence of Cancucks.

I agree that spending a lot of money on a single player might not be worth it unless he contributes a LOT to the team. Hossa might be worth some of it though.

For all those fans whose team didn't make it to the playoffs, who are you cheering for now? I'm all for Flames or Canadiens winning the cup but Penguins winning wouldn't be so bad either...

oh man I would give anything to be at the Bell Centre right now.
just watching the pregame shots of the Bruins & Habs game
the arena's crazy!

free agent signing starts July 1st(?) so i guess if the free agent canucks don't sign by then it's likely they won't sign with Vancouver. with the exception of Linden since he'll either sign with Van or retire. but i've herd that Morrison's not gonna be a canuck next season...from a friend of a friend who's in contact with Nonis. haha very unreliable and i duno myself if its true but with Mo's bad injury luck this season and him saying that he's not willing to take a pay cut nonis won't likely sign him anyways. that makes me sad cuz he's one of my fave canucks ...he's been one for so long =(.

wow just while i'm typing this reply...montreal already scored 2 goals. it's like 2 minutes in.

Lol! I hear ya~!

So today, I was having a fight with two of my other friends. One of them(A) is cheering for Pittsburgh. While the other(J) is cheering for Montreal as well. We got really heated and the hallway kinda avoided us... Anyways. Who do you think has the better chance of winning between the two and why?

It really depends on who they play. Montreal is playing the Bruins who they have completely dominated throughout the whole year while Pens are playing a Sens team who is currently struggling to return back to their early season form, but if the Sens do return back to that form, then watch out.

Me too, me too! I'm so proud of Cujo...he saved the Flames' asses last night.
What a comeback...yay!!! This game kind of reminds me of the 2003-2004 Flames playoffs.
Kipper is probably back tomorrow, but it's a good feeling that we have such a good backup goalie. biggrin.gif
I think Cujo even surprised himself last night...what an outstanding job. He definitely deserved that #1 star of the night.

that move came out of nowhere for me.. i didnt think it was necessary to fire nonis.. i think he's put together a pretty descent team.. kelly hrudey was just pointing out how it wasn't nonis' fault that luongo didn't perform to standard down the stretch and that we never had our top six defensemen becasue of injuries

well what's done is done, i just hope we end up with a good GM next (my vote goes to Tambellini)

Lol Sens. My hate has never stopped.

Even the Kings and Leafs would put up a better fight.

Dumb dumb move.

I sure hope he doesn't drive this franchise to the ground.

I think Aqualini spends too much time on the Canucks forum and listens to what the idiotic fans of Vancouver are saying. Seriously, we have too many dumb fans here.

i hope this doesn't affect the bruunstrom signing
