That first goal was WEAK. And Bieksa completely panicking with the puck and shooting it into the corner just gave the fact that this wasn't our night away. We need some sort of push, momentum, I don't know what AV's saying to these guys in the locker room but it better be good. It better be some heart to heart stuff.
All our shooting lanes were taken away that game too, it was like we were stripped and had things thrown at us for good measure. Mediocre goaltending but goodness when Lou gloved that Shane Doan one-timer and when he completely robbed (insert player's name), man.

And Cookie scored 2 goals against the Ducks! Columbus is going to be a big big big game for us.

A good comeback game from the Canucks. After their hideous slump, their game has gotten a good bit better. Luongo's helmet threw me off a little. I really liked his blue Johnny Canuck helmet. Hordichuk got into another fight tonight. Bobby Lou's reaction time has been a smidge late on some of the shots and others, he's spot on. But he did makes some really much needed saves.
Pylon opened the scoring with assists from the Sedin twins. This is probably the best in a long while I've seen Pyatt do something. Mats Sundin makes his second and third goal (I think) as a Canuck! Sundin is starting to be worth the money we spent on him. Then Bernier makes the thrid goal from a very pretty play. Burrows made the pass to Kesler who uses his speed and agility to go to the net. Kes makes a little back-pass and Bernier scores from that after Mason follows Kesler to the other side of the net! On a PP, Henrik fires a shot on the net and GOAL!
Rick Nash gets the leveler after a screw-up by the Canucks. Lou lunges for the puck when Nash had possesion on the other side but he kept going and did a wrap-around to a very, very open net. Then 2 minutes in the 3rd, Commodore shoots the puck off the post and gets it pass Luongo while he was in a stick-y situation with Hansen giving the Jackets' their first lead of the game.
Canucks make an amazing power kill in OT. After Bieksa made that foul, Burrs, Kes, and Mitchell make an awesome kill! But the dreaded shoot out came along. If we had won, Vancouver's energy and spirit would've been raised by a light year!

And Commordore was signed during the summer to a RIDICULOUSLY expensive contract.
People complain about Sundin's contract being crazy but in terms of a value-salary basis, there were already tons of overpaid players before his contract was offered.

And the Hank, Dank & Tank line, I didn't notice they were playing together even after Pyatt's goal, totally out of it, really reminded me of the '06/07 season, haha.

Umberger was traded, not signed as a free agent.

Canucks 1 - 2 Sharks Final/OT
This is probably the worst of the year so far for me (well, it hasn't really been a long time since 2009 began, but yeah), and the Canucks losing (THIS. WAS. A john teshING. HEARTBREAKER) just completely topped it off. I thought we'd take it, we didn't get that shutout but I thought we'd take it in overtime, in the shootout even, wishful thinking huh? Oh my god, when they scored. Pyatt though, man he's been on it, definitely getting his point across, playing on the top line. As for Claude Lemieux, I was totally confused because when the panel was talking I only heard Lemieux so I thought they were talking about MARIO. I totally freaked out but then realized it was Claude, so yeah.
But man, that game was complete breaking point for me, what a freaking horrible day. 6 games in a row.
And honestly, I thought those refs were complete tools.

I got slight de ja vu after Pyatt's goal.
But, HOLY SNAPS!! In the dying moments of the 3rd, THEY FREAKIN' SCORE! 39.1 SECONDS LEFT AND THEY FREAKIN' SCORE!! OMFG! All outbursts set aside pretty darn good play (even though I dislike admitting it.)
Everything was going great for the Canucks but KAPOOP! It disappears from us. WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL!! I'm too emotionally distraught right now to think/see clearly. First the Habs and now the Nucks. We need a pick-up after this and others... I need a pick-me-up.
Off-side: I found it funny how Burrows and Thorton(??) were going at it. And how after the whole game, this whole ordeal with 5 Canucks and nearly the whole Sharks team going at each other.

Apparently 15 shots after 2 periods is an 'emotional breakdown after win vs. Detroit', TSN,

Loungo was amazing. I really thought he was going for a shutout. He made great saves and that one even when he was down on the ground.
If Luongo played as well as he did today in other games, Canucks will make playoffs; albeit I don't know how far they'll get though.
