They should practice on the breakaway.

Every miss = 50 push ups.

And there is 7 days until the trade deadline.

Well they will be facing Luongo, you will just tire out the players on a useless event. Breakaways are a do or die, you just cannot practice them, you have to do it at that moment due to what the goalie gives you.

^ WOWWWWWWW. I never thought I'd see that.

I know he fought once as a Penguin...made sense back then since he was young and had to impress the coaches and keep a roster spot. It was brutal tho, he went against the biggest enforcer there and got destroyed. The guy knew he wasn't a fighter and let him go tho.

but i dont think hes nhl ready yet i rather call up krog since he has more exp and can prove he can knock up some points during some time back.

Well I believe Naslund is taking a stand for himself to show to his new coach, the notorious TORTS! that he wants to win and play hard. Torts is known to bench players, even lecavalier and richards, so Naslund is there to prove he wants to play hard. Plus, its sad that no one went in to help Naslund, I mean, are the rangers that weak now and soft that they need Naslund fighting?

Wow, Nazzy, though it wasn't much of a scrap, it beats Semin slapping the hell out of somebody by a lot. And I'm pretty sure Grabner and Bolduc were sent down because Demitra's okay,
and we claimed Vaananen off waivers.

And Chioster, I guess you're right, haha. I guess I was just appalled that we missed on so many breakaway chances.

Well it wasn't even a fight, he just hang out for his dear life. Also, we sent Grabner and Bolduc down because Hordichuk is coming back as well as we just claimed vaananen which makes it so we have too many players.

I don't wanna Ohlund gone. T.T I'm gonna miss him if he goes. Ionno though. Knowing Gillis, he might trade him but I feel like he'll hold onto him till the end of the season at the least.

Tamba Bay vs. Vancouver 1-2 Final

Today's game was blek. A fairly/really good first but then the 2nd and 3rd just died. The fans were dead and so were the players. The late rush was good though. And Luongo! Stop handling the puck! Just stop them from going into the back of the net~!
The only thing (half) interesting this whole game was the post-game interview and the rush! And maybe Edler's goal. Good defense by Kesler, Salo, and Burrows at the end there, by the way. Salo keeping that puck out, Burrs hindering what's his name from scoring, and Kes for that defense of his. Wasn't a great win, but a neccessary one. In the end, we got our 2 points.

I was listening to Team 1040 and AV's interview; Team was particularly critical/harsh on the second line than AV but you could tell that AV's answer was a bit curt (is that the right word?). Sundin was quiet and when he had a chance (two) they didn't go in! They should've been in there but, what the duck! And the faceoffs! Lost a good handful of them.

This could be the most dominating line in the NHL if they played together. Datsyk, Zetterberg, and Hossa. Hossa made the right decision going to the Wings.

Hooray for pointing out the obvious.

Dang, I didn't wanna see Ryan Whitney leave the Penguins.

^My friend announced that to me yesterday! I had a mini meltdown in the middle of French class. As much as I disliked the Pens, I wanted Whitney to stay there. A key defenseman. Then we got started on other trades that's happened and we forgot about Whitney. But I think the Ducks need him for a better defense.

Begin moved to Dallas! Grr~ Stupid stars. What's Doug Janik supposed to do?

Random: Does anyone else find it weird to see hockey teams/players in sunny states/areas during the season?

Doug Janik is on waivers now. Plus, we rather do something with Ohlund then lose him for nothing, Jovanovski anyone?

Why do the Leafs always go on a roll when I stop caring and stop paying attention? sleep.gif

Columbus vs. Vancouver 1-3 Final

Such a great improvement from the last game! Lovely.

Salo opened the scoring with 6 seconds left to spare in the first. We've finally did something on the 5-on-3! I am shocked! Out of the countless opportunities, we produced something on one of 'em. Put a little jig in me step. O'Brien had a little scrap in the beginning but hardly enough to rally anything. Hardly could be classified as a fight. Then in the second, Kesler scored from that shot of Sundin's. Back for the third, pretty smooth-going in for the most part. Then Rick Nash scores a little over 6 minutes in. You'd think he'd score earlier if there was to be any scoring on their end at all. Took the whole team a while to get going. But as an answer to Nash, Burrows scores on the 3-on-1 with the twins but having only Daniel draw the assist on that goal. Very nice.
Columbus came out with only 20 shots on goal against Vancouver's 30. Producing some good stuff right now.

Crossing my fingers and toes for the Wild game. If they win, I will be on all crazy levels of extacy, euphoria, happiness, whatever! Not only will it be 2 points and a win, but a very big present that I much wanted.

^The SOB scrap was a bit slow but he got the guy at the very least, I didn't wanna see him beat the crap out of his opponent until he bled when it was clear that he already won. I thought it was spectacular watching Mason, he'll really be something.

AHH! And I was screaming when Nash scored because I'm ALWAYS rooting for a shutout (don't worry, I don't say it out loud though, if I do, I knock on wood), but the opposing team always comes back with a goal in the third.

Poop.

Ah, and.

Avery on re-entry waivers + Nycholat along with a few others on waivers.
