^Eh. The habs have disappointed me with dimming their flame at the wrong time. Loss again versus the pens...

Happy news (for some of us anyways)! We got the title of Northwest Division champions!! Now all we've got to do is... face Columbus... This is bound to be interesting.
And Canadiens are facing the Bruins in the playoffs! Somehow, I'm not really happy about that but at the same time, it's bound to make for some entertaining hockey.

It is not certain we face Columbus yet. Anaheim just lost so we aren't facing them but St. Louis can still beat Columbus.

Man, NO team wants to face Ducks in the first round. Ducks play dirty and they are very likely to injure others. I'm surprised that this year Ducks got rid of a few of their dirty players, but they still have Perry and Pronger.

I'm hoping Blues lose so Ducks can take on the Red Wings.

I hate to say it but I'm nervous about playing the Blues. D: Playing Columbus would have made me much more nervous though.

So who's excited for playoff beards? biggrin.gif

Getting St. Louis will give us a big breather next to Columbus. But I'm sure there's gonna be some interesting moments.

Beards are a coming around~

Playoff predictions/bets anyone?

Colorado fired Francois Gigeure (if I spelled that right), D:
jonogunn! you should definitely go to the jersey store at coquitlam centre, I don't remember the name of the store though.

I've been watching the '94 documentary all day, it kinda did a run on me,
I'm about an inch away from putting my heart and soul into this year's playoffs, but I don't want my hopes and dreams crushed, again. I cried so hard after we lost to the Flames in '04, D:

and is it just me or is it kind of weird how the twins have been mentioned in playoff talk as a whole for us when they're incredibly quiet during the post-season each year? but they do really well against the Blues, I can't judge. D: I SAY SUNDIN UNLEASHES HIS INNER SWEDISH DEMON COME PLAYOFF TIME.

from what I remember, it was pretty cheap, haha
i'm not sure if customs for $229 is cheap, but I got my jersey for $50, (which was half off of $100), which is cheap, to me, haha.

^Lol! Who thinks this year is the year the Sedin's will pick it up? *raises hand* Maybe I'm being too optimistic but they've really amped up their game this season and I think that can carry over and be turned up a bit during the playoffs.

Wear your gear tomorrow, because it is THE night!

Oh! And as most people expected, Islanders got the 1st draft pick then (in descending order) Tampa Bay, Colorado, Atlanta, and then LA.
For the 14 spots, go to: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=418357&...|DraftMicrosite

So I guess Islanders are going after Tavares. No Hedman for them but he would be a good asset. LA would stock up on the young scoring blood and probably take Kane unless one of the previous teams take him.

after Kings drafted Drew Doughty, all they need is better scoring. That guy averages 20+ minutes even as a rookie.
