Why anyone would need (or want) to print words or images on a piece of toast is beyond most of us. Still, for every great geek idea there is a great geek inventor out there who will turn design concept into reality. Shown above, ‘Hello World’ is toasted into the top piece of bread using a CNC laser cutter. Overkill?
A somewhat more practical idea, this toasting device also prints patterns on your pieces of bread but is more about function than form – the end result is a simply printed piece of actually edible toast.
The roller toaster is a much simpler device – it does not put any kind of image onto the bread but simplifies the toasting process by passing the bread through one side to the other, toasting it on the way.
