Do you write in cursive or print? And do you consider your handwriting neat?
Are you one of those people who have like.. handwriting that's so perfect that it looks like it's been typed? w00t.gif -envies-

Anyone have tips to have better handwriting?
I've always had extremely bad writing that no one can read and I can never seem to make it BETTER. fury.gif
I've tried both cursive and print, but I only write in print. Either way I can't write straight and end up being really sloppy. Ugh.
On the other hand, my boyfriend has the neatest, girliest handwriting ever. LOL

i write in print. it'd be easier for other people to understand that coz not everyone's good in writing in cursive - especially when they describe it as a "doctor's penmanship" in which only doctors and pharmacists can usually read well. lol

I write in cursive.I find it easier and faster to do so.People can read my handwriting so I don't have problems with it.I think the only way to improve your handwriting is just to practice.

I mostly write in print. Yes. My handwriting is very neat. All my teachers and classmates say that it should be a computer font. lol
Maybe write slower and change the way you hold the pen? Because I read that the way you hold the pen can affect the way you write.

Mmm, maybe you just have naturally bad handwriting?

I print, and it's sloppy yet neat looking. I do make my letters weird though.
I make my E's like "3" They seriously look like a three .____.

My penmanship varies on my mood. If I'm lazy, yeah chicken scratch, if I'm happy I'll write like how most girls penmanship.. most times I just write in cursive tho, and when I'm sad I write really small haha.

it depends.
writing thank-you notes, birthday cards, letters: cursive
note-taking: a mash-up of print and cursive and shorthand [this one's ugly]
list-making, everything else: print

i'm not sure how to help you improve handwriting :\

I just print. If I feel like making my writing fancy then I would add cursive.
My handwriting was beautiful when I was in 2nd grade. It's getting worse everyday.

People tell me that I have really neat handwriting, and that it's really pretty. People just love it, while I'm going huh.gif whenever they comment about it. They say it's like I type my words out, and some say that it should be a font :b Some girls tried to copy my handwriting, or at least, how I write certain letters or whatever. I write in print most of the time, but if I'm in a hurry, I write in both print and cursive.

Sometimes I can't even read my own handwriting :|

when i was in elementary, everyone has to write in cursive style.
and then when i moved to an international school, everyone have different writing style, and then i got influenced by the printing style one because of some teachers, so now i have a print hand writing.

mine is abit like verdana or century gothic font

Cursive is hard D: and you so do not need it in everyday life. Third grade teachers LIE.

People tell me my handwriting looks like it's typed but... I don't really like it sometimes lol.
I have my "school" handwriting which is uh, neat, I guess. And then I have my "artist" handwriting that I write in my sketchbook. It's alot messier since I write really fast with it, but it's just for notes on my work or designs, so I don't really give a crap if other people can read it haha.

Many people tell me my handwriting looks typed.
Especially when I write in blank ink.
But I don't like it. It's so...plain.
Although it is good for notes.
I want a different penmanship(?).

Go back to the old, elementary school days.
Write on those paper with HUGE lines.
And that dotted line that goes across.

Depends lol, but most of the time it's legible enough to read. I intermix between cursive and printing. Somehow it ended up that way ^^; My writing's really really round, when I'm writing in English or Korean. But when I write Chinese or Japanese, sometimes it kinda turns out like messy calligraphy. Pure cursive for me ain't too bad lol, but I rarely use it cause it's time consuming for me cause I like to make it pretty lol.

To have better writing, do what kimchi hana said. Go to your local dollar store and buy those print books for kids and practice till you have writing you think is pretty and makes you happy ^^

I usually write in this weird mixture of print and cursive but it's legible and it looks nice enough x)
I wish I was one of those people that had handwriting that looks like it was typed, it's so pretty! hahah.

I print most of the time, since cursive is never required anymore in high school...
My handwriting is neat only when I want it to be. x] When my hand starts to hurt and I get lazy, it becomes pretty messy.
My cursive is neater than my handwriting, though. I just have some sort of OCD with writing and how it has to be.

I write in half print and half cursive. I start writing words in print and it ends up in cursive... Yep.

I've had a lot of people say that my handwriting is really neat, and I can see how it looks that way on some days, but I think I write messy.

I write in print.. easier for me.. I know in elementary school in language arts class we had to write in cursive on everything we wrote.. and I hated it.. my cursive isn't as pretty as my print and it was kinda uncomfortable? Haha.. ^^

But weird thing is.. I will write about 95% in print but somehow on some of my endings on my words will be in cursive.. like if a word ends in a "s" then I will write that "s" in cursive. xD But as far as whole words go.. not comfy. ):

I use print when I write on paper. But then, my handwriting is illegible so I guess I write chicken scratch .
