Yes! I've ran into one girl that I sort of wasn't SO surprised that she was on it since she's probably the only girl I know who's genuinely interested in Asian pop culture. But yes, it was pretty weird at first.

my sister and a lot of my friends all go on soompi. we all go on different threads, so no big deal.

I saw a guy from soompi, I saw his pictures on soompi and saw him working at a store at the mall. So random. He looked exactly like his pictures so that's a good thing? Very cute.

hahaha this happened to me! it was a girl that i replied back to on a thread she made because she was asking a question about the college that i currently attend. surprisngly, we had the same class and she came up to me and asked me if i went on soompi LOL. i was literally like "o___O whoaa~"
