you need a beta key to get in on the beta.

I got invited by my friend and have 2 accounts^^ I can try and inviting ppl but have to ask my friend. Just pm me since I be getting beta keys later on when im active for couple weeks. Also you can try facebook also.

graphics are nice & I like it!

Ouuu I heard about that from my bf. The new "dota" with better graphics. There's was also a beta key from facebook but I think that's finished now.

and I can't help but feel that they steal this idea from DotA.

I mean... yeah DotA is not original either.
But man!! Even the Map and terrain is the same??

The game is good, but it takes time to relearn again since the characters and items are remodeled. Not every character is a 100% carbon copy, which is alright since it gives HoN its own edge. Pretty much whatever DotA doesn't have, HoN has. My handle in game is zoLo, add me if you want to play.

They're both pretty cool, but Hereoes of Newerth has way higher production values. The gameplay is also way more technical and skill-based. LoL is pretty much casual-focused play. It has a unique look though as well as some other features so it's not completely without merit.

To all those interested, it is in Open Beta now, so now you don't need an invite.

Updates are a little more frequent on this game as far as balancing issues, new ideas etc etc.

However, a lot of the community still feels that the S2 Carry Heroes are a little more powerful compared to older DotA hero counterparts.

lol I'm exact opposite.

When the matchmaking came out I was at 1500 with everyone else, but I kept getting random noobs who never played a game like this before. Luckily i had some friends on my team, and we were able to pretty much 2v5 xD.

Hmm... I've never played dota, but I must admit, I'm addicted to this game!
This is the only thing that keeps me away from SSFIV~
