i was more impressed when he actually answered how many green blocks were on the plate.

African Grey parrots are known for their brains. I think he was extra smart, thoughg--coming up with his own statements and stuff, asking for things, etc. I remember him from when I was younger, too. (he was 31 when he died a couple of years ago =/ ) I used to see him and the dr who trained him all the time on tv.
