i use internet explorer.. not sure which version but everytime i log in, i get logged on BUT i cannot use it anywhere else on the site when i update my profile.. it brings me to log out so i have to log back in and sometimes it doesn't even work ! everytime i click my profile.. it brings me to the page to "log in" and everytime i try to log in, it NEVER works. so then i have to refresh the internet and retype "www.soompi.com/forums" and then im automatically logged back in.. so its kind of weird! i hope you guys fix this soon <3 ^^ ..but the new soompi is looking great!

i think the only trouble im having are:

-profile is a bit confusing
-profile is a bit stalkerish.meaning its too similar to facebook&twitter
- the "my cafe" banner/icon is too big

but i think overall i like the design. I think it would be nice if people have option to choose between the old design and this. Thanks for all the hardwork guys!

I click "Make this your avatar" , and it takes me to the "Crop Your Profile Pic!" page...
But when I click crop, I get this:

I like the upgrade.
The cafe is a bit too much like twitter which I don't really care for >_<
What I would like to know is.. are all of our messages gone for good? There was a message that I was wanting to save and read later!

my messages are still there.. but it says its "full" when its not :/

For all those who are concerned about their Private Messages . . please take note of what was announced before the relaunch . .

Other IMPORTANT things to know:

2) At relaunch, you will only have the past 2 weeks of PM messages available. We will be restoring the older PMs over time following launch, but immediately after launch, you will only have the past 2 weeks of PMs available.

3) Profile pics/Avatar pics - Your profile picture may not be immediately available. In all our test migrations, it has taken several days for the profile pics to make it over. But if you want, you can reupload a new image once we relaunch.

As for the percentage issue in PM capacity. It looks as though is over-limit bcos the original Max was 200, whereas it is 20 messages max at the moment. So, it is a matter of mathematics.

eg, before relaunch, you had 50 messages out of 200 (max), so that works out to be 25% used up. However, after the relauch, it is now 50 messages out of 20 (max), so for now the capacity looks like is 250%.

So don't worry about the percentages and whether the old messages have been lost forever.

i also think the profile is a bit stalkerish.. since we cannot control *who* gets to view our profiles like on facebook.. :/

i prefer the old version too.. only because its easier to use and cos im used to it.. the new version is pretty but its kind of complicated right now since i think they are still working on it.. (which i hope they finish soon ! ^^)

i dont think there is.. unless they make that part private so only the user can see or if they add in who can view it or something like that.

Thanks to all the Soompi staff for launching the new site.
Though I miss the old Soompi but I'll eventually get used to the new one. My only concern is logging in anonymously, I hope we'll be able to soon. Some people are able to appear as anonymous now, how are they able to do that?

You guys did an awesome job on the upgrade. Although it may take a while for me to adjust to, I like it a lot. Now there's no point in using Facebook, twitter, or even a blog site. Soompi has everything all rolled up in one bundle of awesomness. XDD
