Welcome to the latest version of Soompi! You can log in using your email address and password. Once you log in, you can post on both the Soompi homepage and the forums (Yes! with only one log in!).

Your forum user name is now your universal user name for the whole site.

If you are using IE 6,7 or 8 , you will experience issues composing blogs, news or PMs. We are working on this now.

And if you have any feedback or bugs to report to us, please use the red Feedback tab on the left side of the site:) <--- Its over there.

UPDATE - Answers to some FAQs

- Please clear all your cookies first.
- PMs are not done importing so the PM box is not complete.
- the % of PM inbox used is not accurate or applicable now, so ignore it
- we are working on how to be anonymous
- we are still working on bugs so please give us a day or two to handle logout issues, errors, slowness of the site etc.
- Some avatar/profile pics are still migrating. So they will appear soon, but if you want to upload a new one, do it!
- all profile pages are now behind login so that non-logged in people cannot see your profile

Hahah I did right after I commented, and now it's fine

er.. is it just me or there's something wrong? coz when i edit my one of my settings i'm being asked to login again. other than that i have no other problems with soompi

sometimes, soompi askes me to logg on again

Anyway, something else I noticed is that the buttons with the page numbers are a bit light (in color). Although, that might be because my screen is probably brighter than it should be haha. Other than that, I think I'll have to wait a few days until everything is updated and then see again. I think it's just mostly getting used to the new Soompi, and then I'm sure people will be fine with it

but i'm using incognito mode on chrome so there's no cookies saved.. aright let me try it again. thanks!

Very nice, and congrats on getting this job done with so few hitches.

But PLEASE PLEASE restore the anonymous login facility soon.

It's not that I have dark secrets to hide, but I am one of that sought-after bunch who (more or less) understands Korean. Which means that before I switched to anonymous log in, I couldn't even peek into an unsubbed drama forum without the "Tell us what XYZ said when ..." onslaught starting after my handle appeared at the foot of the screen.

I like to help out when I can, but I don't like being pestered, and I'm afraid there is a tiny but tireless minority of big-time pesterers in the drama threads. I think I'll probably have to stay away till this gets restored.
