Hey guys , im gonna try to keep this as simple as possible.
I was planning on transferring out of my college during the spring semester of my sophomore year (meaning that i plan on applying to other colleges Fall semester of my sophomore year, so i can goto a different college during the spring semester).

Here are my questions:

- Would it be easier to transfer out of my college since i would have about three semesters of college coursework? (Freshmen Fall & Spring , Sophomore Fall)?

- How heavily would high school grades/course work and test scores be weighed?

- Would i be able to get financial aid for my new school? (should i just wait to transfer my junior year?)

- Would i be able to get housing if i plan on living on campus?

1. Not sure about this one. The applicant pool should be smaller for mid-year transfers, so it might be less competitive, but the standards and minimum requirements should be the same.
2. I don't think they look at your high school transcript at all, just the work you've done in college.
3. Yes, you will get financial aid mid-year.
4. I think you could get housing, but you might be left choosing the out of the ones that are still available, so maybe the less desired dorms/apartments.
