Almost everyone I know says I'm fat/chubby. I'm 16, I weigh 50 kg and I'm 5'1" tall.
My friend told me that my weight seems alright for my height. But some of my friends calls me pig, especially when we eat at Chinese Buffets, I quite eat a lot of food. So they tell me not to eat too much.
Even my mum says that I quite eat a lot and I should go on a diet or exercise.
I cannot not eat, I eat 2 times a day (I sometimes wake up like 12PM, cause it's summer, so I don't get too eat my breakfast). And sometimes I eat midnight snacks.
For me, I feel alright with what I am now, but sometimes, when I think about my weight, and what people say, I feel really really fat & ugly.
I'm also jealous of my cousins, cause they're so thin, and I want to lose at least 5kg. But when I see my favourite foods, I forget that I should not eat too much.
And I also have a problem, when I eat too much fatty foods, I get headaches.

What should I do? Should I exercise and go on a diet?
What keeps you motivated to eat the right amount of food?
My auntie suggested that I should eat my meals on the right time and don't eat after 6PM, but I cannot not eat after 6PM.

EDIT:
Thanks a lot for the replies. I'll try to not eat too much and exercise.
I have another question, Is it also bad, that after you eat, you just stay in front on the computer, the whole day?
I don't do anything this summer, except to watch dramas.

instead of eating just two meals a day..try to split it up into like 4 smaller meals a day. so you arent just eating two big meals. and yea at buffets its tempting to eat a lot since i mean its a buffet and all..but once ur full..DONT OVEREATTTT.
and try to cut down on teh midnight snacks, going to bed on a filled stomach will push the scale a little higher because after you eat ur just letting it sit in ur stomach while you sleep and ur body will retain that.
but truthfully i dont think 50 kg is that fat. but if you feel like you need to lose...i think if u just make sure to eat ur favorite temptations in moderation (dont pig out..just a little at a time) and try to do some kind of exercise each day ..itll help with ur metabolism and its just good for you.

its good to stop eating anything about 3-4 hours before you sleep, so you have time to digest everything before you sleep. i know itll be hard for the first couple weeks or so but if you keep using that eating schedule you'll get used to it. and if you do get hungry during the night..trying drinking some water or tea to make ur body feel full.

hope this helps cuz im also trying to lose some weight and i know what you mean by food is sooo tempting cuz i love it. but if you really want to lose weight..or for some reason you feel like you need to (tho idont think so) then you need to motivate ur self and practice self control when it comes to food

Meal planning is your friend. smile.gif Exercise is always good as well but fix your diet first. Try to eat 5-6 small meals a day.

Also, if you're going to eat at night, eat things like protein and veggies instead of carbs (this includes fruits as well).

It's not so much about motivation. It just turns into habit when you have already packed your lunch and have a set amount of food. When I don't have a lunch that is packed i'm more prone to overeating so I try to eat slowly and chew my food thoroughly. Maybe it's a good thing you get headaches when you eat fatty foods. Lol. Just stay away from them. smile.gif

but they all say i'm a little on the weird side

rather than eating bigger meals, why don't you split it up and eat less in more portions throughout the day?
and NO midnight snacks. those are killer. D:

Habit is spelled with one 'b', dear.

Eating and exercising should always be balanced. If you eat more than you think you should, then exercise a bit more to make sure the calories don't accumulate.
