I love my friend a lot and she makes me a little worried. I thought a first it was just simple fangirling. Shes obsessed with this Korean singer/dancer. She really thinks that their meant to be together. She doesn't even want to date anybody and wants to reserve herself for him. Whats worse is that she used to be so focused on her career dreams and now shes thinking about not pursuing some goals because she wants to make room for him in case they actually date. WTF, I know.
shes always like this with guys, but its worse now because she likes a celebrity. Rah, she makes me stressed out lol.

If you really aren't exagerating, do your friend a favor and show her how obsessed she's gotten.

- go bake some cupcakes together -- (distract her)
- introduce her to a new man, a real boy to woo her over. it works, everytime.

if this has been going on for a month or two, fine. but if it's been a year then its something to be worried about.

Rather than directly criticizing your friend, try criticizing him? Be supportive (but not encouraging), but mebe criticism will break the image of perfection she has of him and show her that "Oh wow, he IS a real person so he might actually be less than I thought of him." Start off with image criticisms like how you don't think he's THAT good looking or great a dancer. Keep it constructive so she can't say stuff like "you're just saying that cuz you're jealous!"

Find all the little negative facts about him to bring up with her to show her that although he's a celebrity, he's also a real person with real problems. Problem with obsessed girls like that is that they forget that celebrities are not constructed based on their daydreams and fanvideos of the celebrity shaking hands and smiling. They're ENTERTAINERS, they're supposed to put on a good front (most of the them) to attract a larger fanbase.

haha i think a lot of girls/guys go through this phase once in their life.
i used to tell everybody I was going to marry Oguri Shun no matter what LOL.
but over time, you'll grow and...see the realistic side of things haha.
I met a guy unexpectedly, and that got me out of the phase immediately--maybe it will be like that for her too XD
yeah, i still joke that I'm gonna marry Oguri Shun one day...

I don't think there's much you can do but wait and hope she'll grow out of it. A lot of people went through this stage when I was younger (including me...haha...though I wasn't THAT obsessed), but we all grew out of it. Seriously, I think that she's gone to the point of no return, where she won't listen to reason. You can try to tell her about her obsession, try to expose some reality to her, but don't expect it to be an instant process.

Or you can hope that she's kidding around and trying to freak you out.
