Fanfic Trailer Maker... ANYONE know the best software??

Hey randomly going to ask,
does anyone know the best video maker software
that is FREE to download??
This is for like making fanfic trailers and etc.

Please help me suggest! ^^

The best video maker software?
Hmmmz....there's a lot to list but the ones I've heard people commonly use are:
Adobe Premiere
Sony Vegas Movie

You can download the trial versions of either of these at their websites.

Song Vegas Pro FTW!

but sadly It's not a free software but you can download the trial version on the internet.
Adobe Premiere is also nice too and Pinnacle Studio (lots of transitions and effects)

I made this MV using sony vegas... kinda poorly edited but oh well, at least my videos improved and got HQ. ^.^ lols

I also use Sony Vegas. I made this trailer using it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptXS5IsFd3I But only the video part. All the parts with text were made with Adobe After Effects. I heard Adobe Premiere is good, too.

Even though Sony Vegas is not free, I still recommend it. There isn't a free software that's going to make good fanfic trailers!

Free softwares that make good videos are rare.
I personally use Sony Vegas, it's a GREAT software!! So many effects that I still haven't grasped on yet.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 / Sony Vegas Pro but I prefer Premiere Pro : )

Sadly, it's not free but you can always download the free trial (: Honestly, there really is no free software that is good. If there is, it's rare.

If you need a video editor program that is free, try VirtualDub.

It won't be as good as those paid ones like Adobe or Sony but it's worth a try.

I'm another one for Sony Vegas! i agree it isn't free, but the trial you can download is the full version which only runs out after 30days, so plenty of time for you to make your trailer =P

i use adobe premiere pro. it was hard to use at first (just cos i was so used to windows movie maker

) but after trying it out, i freaking LOVE it! i bought the adobe creative suite 3 master collection and it's worth it. you can use the other programs in the collection to support your vid-making.

i suggest buying it in your university's bookstore (if your uni sells programs) cos they give mad discounts. at least, my sister's uni does.

she got me mine for a third of the original price. and if they don't, try the academic superstore. but you have to have a student id. i think.

Ulead Video Studio or Sony Vegas (I haven't tried it yet) but i guess it'll be good...

I have Sony Vegas Movie, but it's so hard to understand.
Is there some kind of tutorial I can see, like on youtube?

It's just sitting there, and all I'm using is that crappy windows movie maker T^T.
