Ever promise yourself that you're going to bulldoze through those piles of work on your table and get distracted by the computer? I think it happens to me too often to be healthy...

I always end up bawling my eyes out and cursing my singlehood. It also raises my standard of guys to where it's near impossible. dry.gif

Personal Favorites:

Pride and Prejudice (Film)
Kiera Knightley is amazing in here! She's great in historical romances:) I LOVE the cold-guy-melts-into-perfect-lover scenario. (wink) The ending really, really had my fingers tingling.

Koizura
(Japanese Movie)
It really made me cry so much. I recommend the movie more than the drama. Partly because of Miura Haruma.

A Moment to Remember (Korean Movie)
OKay. Another tearjerker for me. I LOVE Son YeJin. She's a gorgeous and talented actress that really makes the audience sympathize with her sad predicament.

My Lovely Kim SamSoon (Korean Drama)
My mom bought the whole series in DVD. It is HILARIOUS! A lot of dramas make the unfortunate event of overdramatizing and dragging out certain areas of the plot, but I love how everything happens for a reason in this one. Great romantic comedy to watch when you have time.

What are your favorite romance sources? It can be any novel, manga, movie, or drama. I know it isn't the first time that I've fallen for a fictional character, and it probably won't be my last:)

(Mods, I wasn't sure on where to put this topic. I wanted to just dedicate this topic to ROMANCE genre style of entertainment. I looked in the directory and there wasn't any specific one that seemed to match a topic of this nature.)

Oh definitely. But it's good to shed a tear or two for a good movie that touches you emotionally.

Personal Favs:

Winter Sonata (Korean Drama)
This was back when AZN Channel was still on cable, hah. I cried more towards the middle to ending than in the beginning.
I even got a bunch of my friends hooked on it, during our slumber party. I was like, "I CANNOT MISS THIS EPISODE!" :D

My Lovely Kim SamSoon (Korean Drama)
It just happened to be the second Korean Drama that I got into. I didn't cry much here, but I could sort of relate to SamSoon.
At least to what she was going through, even though that might sound a little horrible??

Marley&Me (American Film)
I had a dog who was similar to Marley, but not as a hassle...I cried my eyes out in the movie theatre, along with this happened to be the movie I ended up not talking to the guy I'm dating now because I think I saw him cry and guys who cry, are a button pusher for me. D: But it worked out in the end, xD

Wedding Date (American Film)
Michael Buble's songs are in here, I'm a sucker for his voice. "Home" always makes me cry. But it amuses me that she had to hire someone to bring to her sister's wedding. Good movie, definite chick flick night movie!

P.S. I Love You (American Film)
All time chick flick. I love it and it makes me cry...and crave spaghetti every time it comes to the spaghetti dinner scene! I have paused the movie just to cook spaghetti. When I get married and my husband were to die, I almost wanna say I want him to do the same as the husband in the movie. D: Not creeperish, is it? o.O

Well my list would be longer, but I think those are the top choices. :D

I miss the pull of your heart, I taste the sparks on your tongue.

Ah, recently, it's been He's Just Not That Into You. Although not everyone has a happy ending, it shows every aspect of relationships and I really really really love how Justin Long and that girl gets together. Sorry, totally blanking out on her name. OH AND Ben Afflecks proposal to Jennifer Aniston. Sigh, so cute<3

Korean drama wise, I can watch My Name Is Kim Sam Soon and My Girl over and over again.

I don't like to cry so I try not to watch any sad movies/dramas LOL. And I cry super easily. Which is why I haven't even watched Stairway to Heaven... I bawled like a baby in Marley & Me, too.

P.S I Love You - OMMGG first "love" movie I've ever cried over. It's so freaking cute and sad and happy hahaa all rolled into one.

The Notebook - Wow, I didn't believe it when everyone around me was crying about this movie until I watched it recently, and I have to say it's incredibly sad and the greatest romantic movie ever:( I love Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling smile.gif

I loved A Walk to Remember & He's Just Not That Into You. The Notebook as a movie was good too, but the book was better (:

I can't believe I forgot a Walk to Remember! My favorite scene was when she sang Only Hope on the stage. She was like an angel up there smile.gif

Brokeback Mountain - I can't get enough of this movie and short story. But it is emotionally draining so I don't watch/read it too often.

Love in the Time of Cholera - not as good as Gabriel Garcia Marquez's other, more famous book, One Hundred Years of Solitude, but it was pretty good.

I'm not really into romance so I don't have too many favorites.
