I have the older model and the new z4 is a lot more toned down. It went from competing with the porsche boxster to competing with the mercedes slk. You could probably get a z4m for a lot cheaper and get more performance too! But the new z4 does have a nicer interior and ride smoother. It really depends on whether you value performance or comfort. Take it for a test drive!

+1.... the z4 went from one of my least favorite (visually) to probably my favorite car after the new one came out

The z4 is also disgustingly expensive lol.
Nice car though, if you got the money and just like to drive around in a posh car. Personally I wouldn't get one because there are better performing cars for the same money. Maybe not as nice or comfy or stylish.
