Well I imagine the movie is tailored for a specific demographic. It will most likely appeal to those who grew up with Julia Child's The French Chef or In Julia's Kitchen with Master Chefs or simply those who like cooking in general.

haha yeah, i went with my mom and we both laughed when we entered the theatre to see so many grandpas and grandmas tongue.gif

Most likely most of those elderly people have lived their domestic lives with Julia Child by their side

anyway. I thought it was a brilliant movie. It was funny and surprising at times. "Hot like a stiff cock" lol.

I can't wait to watch this film! It's actually one of the few movies that I have been anticipating to see this summer. I'm debating if I should watch it with only my mother or with the whole family (mother, father, brother). I mean, it is geared towards the female population. Haha.

What a delight of a movie.
Excellent acting from both Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.
Great story and so well adapted into a movie of two stories.
Inspiring for anyone who loves to cook.
Sad, funny and above all, entertaining.
