Stanford
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (SLO) [especially demanding for architecture]
Cal Tech
some Cal States are good too, depending on what career you want to pursue

CSUN (Cal State University Northridge) has a somewhat new pipeline nursing program! One of my classmates is trying to get into it.

You can get your B.S.N pretty easily, I've heard.

But, since I'm not a Bio major anymore...I can't be too much of help. ^^;;;;

There are cal-states that actually have a nursing major. I am pre-nursing at Fresno state (you have to apply for the nursing major since it's impacted) and I think there are nursing majors at CSLB AND CSLA too.

oh sorry, didnt see that post.

for psychology or nursing, alot of the private schools are good, like University of San Diego, or the Pomona colleges.

I also wouldnt underestimate the CSUs. Some of the like Chico or SDSU have partying reputations, but others like the two Cal Polys would be a great place to study biology!

...oh, and Stanford tongue.gif
