When I floss it hurts. When I eat, it doesn't. When I eat cold stuff I feel a tingling sensation... I will book an appointment on Monday but I was wondering if this cavity is bad? I am scared my teeth will be ugly if they do a filling...

It's just 1 cavity... can anyone help? I think this cavity grew around a few months ago but it did not hurt at all and I didn't really notice it...

last time the dentist said I was getting/had a cavity in the same spot... and they did not tell me anything to do... they just said floss more.

You could always get the tooth pulled out.

fillings aren't that bad. they just mold that certain spot to look like a normal tooth.
well if you get white filling no one will notice anything. smile.gif

^^ Um, I wouldn't pull the tooth out.

If it's sensitive to cold, then I'm thinking it's more severe than a cavity? Fillings are easy, really. It might be ugly, but isn't it your back tooth?
Just hope you won't need a root canal. dry.gif

It might just be wisdom teeth, if you're that age? Doubt it though, since your dentist told you to be careful at your last checkup.

Don't worry about it, there's not much you can do now.
If the pain's bad, take some Advil/Tylenol.

Remember to floss + brush regularly?
