Plot

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: ‘ECLIPSE’ LANDS ANOTHER CAST MEMBER

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Eclipse movie has landed another cast member. This time, Jack Huston joins the cast in the role of Royce King II.

Jack Huston has fanged his way on to Summit Entertainment’s threequel “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

The actor joins Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Bryce Dallas Howard in the third installment of the vampire series derived from Stephenie Meyer’s novels. Huston will play Royce King II, a human that lived during the Great Depression.

Production begins shortly in Vancouver under the direction of David Slade (”30 Days of Night”). Its scheduled for a June 30 release.

Huston, repped by ICM, the Collective and U.K.-based Finch & Partners, stars on the ABC series “Eastwick,” which debuts next month. He next appears in the features “Boogie Woogie” and “Mr. Nice,” and he appeared in “Shrink,” which recently opened in limited release.

Um.... I think the exact reasons were because her schedule clashed with the filming schedule... or she apparently broke her contract with Summit.

She was casted to play in another movie or drama or something and filming would last 10 days I think? And what happened was that she didn't tell Summit, they found out and told her she couldn't act on the movie anymore because their contract includes a clause that she can't film another movie while filming Eclipse. Either that or it was something about how her 10 day schedule clashed with Eclipse's so they boot her.

It's kinda sad and there was a lot of debate and petitions against it. And I also find it odd that they replaced her with the director's daughter? REALLY?! I think that sounds a little fishy but what can you do =O=
It's a stupid mistake on Summit's part though (imo) since it just ruins the continuity of the film and it's so odd to suddenly see a new actor playing Victoria (that's like suddenly replacing James Franco in Spiderman 3 or replacing Geoffery Bush in POTC3... or I guess it's similar to HP3 when Dumbledore died T__T). It's Summit's loss >_> I know that a lot of fans aren't happy.

Eclipse was my favourite book too so I'm a little upset that they might ruin it >_< especially changing the cast listing. OH wells... we'll see what they make out of it.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: �ECLIPSE� HAS FOUND ITS MARIA

�Eclipse� has found its Maria, and she�s full of grace.

Producers on Summit�s third �Twilight� pic have cast Catalina Sandino Moreno, best-known for playing the title character in the indie drama �Maria Full of Grace,� to play the vampire character of Maria.

The CAA-repped actress will take on the role of a woman who tries to create a newborn army of vampires, recruiting the Confederate soldier Jasper to her cause. In Stephenie Meyer�s book, the character is described as a petite brunette with a soft voice.

The Colombian-born Sandino Moreno most notably starred in �Grace,� in which she played a pregnant teacher who becomes a drug mule, as well as Steven Soderbergh�s epic �Che� and the upcoming indie drama �Frail,� in which she plays the title character, who�s described as a naive Midwestern girl.

The actress joins an �Eclipse� ensemble that � in addition to stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner � includes Jack Huston as a human who lived during the Great Depression, Xavier Samuel as a newborn vampire named Riley and Bryce Dallas Howard as the villainous Victoria, The actress replaces Rachel Lefevre last month in what amounted to a controversial casting switch.

�Eclipse,� directed by David Slade, begins shooting next week in Vancouver.

�I�m allowed to tell people that I play a vampire who has just been turned,� the 14-year-old Canadian actress tells me. �In other words, I�m a newborn vampire. I�m not allowed to say the name of the character.�

So if she won�t say whether her character is Team Edward or Team Jacob, what�s her pick in real life?

It�s Team Edward all the way for Jodelle.

�I just think if maybe Jacob had been introduced first then everybody would like him better,� she said. �It just seems that since Edward was the first one to be with Bella, people want him to stay with her. So, you know, that�s the character that you start to like first! And then Jacob comes into the picture and everybody�s like, �Oh, no! Stay with Edward.��

Jodelle says she�s �really, really excited to meet Robert Pattinson.� As are her friends. �Every single person I�ve told has asked me if they could come to the set,� she said, adding with a laugh, �I�ve said, �I�ll have to think about that.��

How did Jodelle celebrate snagging a part in what�s destined to be one of the most successful movie franchises ever?

�You know, I was just thinking about that yesterday,� she said. �I was just thinking that I haven�t done anything yet. I need to think of something. Basically, I just jumped up and down and then I went into my room and watched a movie on my mini-DVD player.

�Actually, it wasn�t a movie,� she continued. �I was watching The Addams Family�the old ones, not the movie.�

Several sources are reporting that casting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's Clearwater siblings has just been confirmed by Summit Entertainment.

For the part of Leah Clearwater, it will be Julia Jones, and for Seth Clearwater it is the oh-so-adorable Boo Boo Stewart, the reports state.

Principle photography on "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," is underway in Vancouver, Summit Entertainment said in a statement released today.

There will be a few new faces in this third installment of the popular vampire franchise.

"Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree," Summit confirmed.

Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight are also running similar accounts.

Leah and Seth are the brother and sister pair of to-be werewolves in Eclipse, whose parts in Breaking Dawn are of paramount importance to the series. Bree is the tiny vampress who Dr. Cullen offers to take under his wing at the end of Eclipse, but whose affiliation with Victoria's army is too problematic to remedy.

On reading the books: �I got very obsessive and went through all 4 of them. In the last week and a half, I�ve read the first 3. I just finished Eclipse today. I think the books are incredible. Stephenie Mayer managed to capture a level of humanity, especially with Bella�s character. Her inner thoughts are the similar thoughts you�ve ha d in similar situations but they�re so deep down, ones that you sometimes don�t even admit to yourself.�

Last night the Twilight Eclipse crew was back to work shooting under a bridge a �Seattle� scene
with Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel as �Victoria and Riley�.

Victoria seduces Riley so that he�ll carry out her orders to make new vampires.
As you can see, they�ve wigged out Bryce�s hair to resemble Rachelle Lefevre�s.


This cute guy named BooBoo Stewart is playing the young werewolf Seth Clearwater in Eclipse.

He said that the Twilight movies will be in total 5! Because he was signed for 3 more movies.
So, there is a rumor that the last book Breaking dawn will be split into 2 parts or there will be a complete new story
or the author will finish the book Midnight Sun - which is Twilight from Edward�s view. Let�s see~
