EX adds:
• 16" alloy wheels
• 4-wheel disc brakes
• One-touch power moonroof with tilt feature
• Exterior temperature indicator
• Steering wheel-mounted audio controls
• Security system with remote entry and trunk opener
• Variable intermittent windshield wipers
• Additional 12-volt accessory outlet
• 350-watt AM/FM/XM Ready®† / CD Premium Audio System with 7 speakers including subwoofer
• 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback
My friend has the LX. He says he really regrets not gettin the EX for the moonroof and trunk popper

maybe he got it in canada.
base SI w/ no packages and extra stuff is 26k
after tax it's like 31K
but ya...i'd go with the SI rather than the LX or EX.
more hp, nicer interior, more fun to drive.

And yes, that's a $13,000 dealership markup.

I think it's marked up like that because very few are being released in cali. My friend's parents bought him an SI around Christmas fully loaded and he totaled it on New Years...
