ahaha last time i said i wanted a scion tc, but i guess i changed my mind. i'm thinking about the 2006 honda civic coupe. it doesn't seem like there's a big difference between the lx and the ex, but there's about a $2000 difference. it seems like the main difference is that the ex has a moonroof. which model should i choose? and this is my first car so i want to make a good choice.

edit: what about the si. would that be better?

The options are different. There's more stuff and accessories on the EX. That's probably the reason why its more expensive. Little things add up to make 2000 dollar difference.

EX
EX adds:
• 16" alloy wheels
• 4-wheel disc brakes
• One-touch power moonroof with tilt feature
• Exterior temperature indicator
• Steering wheel-mounted audio controls
• Security system with remote entry and trunk opener
• Variable intermittent windshield wipers
• Additional 12-volt accessory outlet
• 350-watt AM/FM/XM Ready®† / CD Premium Audio System with 7 speakers including subwoofer
• 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback

My friend has the LX. He says he really regrets not gettin the EX for the moonroof and trunk popper sad.gif But if you plan on modding your civic then juss go with the LX since you'll be replacing the main components the EX features smile.gif

if im not mistaken doesn't EX have vtec whilst the LX is without? If that is the case, I'd go with EX.

(its like that with the previous generations)

^ That's insane. At that price I'd rather pass that up for a lower-end benz model.

No, that's in California.

And yes, that's a $13,000 dealership markup.

I think it's marked up like that because very few are being released in cali. My friend's parents bought him an SI around Christmas fully loaded and he totaled it on New Years...
