Get the Titanium Gray color. It looks much better IMO, also the cheap plastics contrasting against the red paint make it stick out and the plastic look even worse.
I have a '04 CR-V. About 120k miles on it.
In it's history aside from regular maintenance, I had two issues which were completely resolved with the help of Honda.
I think some part in the engine, the one that gives the car the gas, not injectors, not fuel rail... but some component I forgot, failed. It was out of warranty too. I took it to Honda and asked them what's up with that and that I had no problems before with all the Honda's I drove before and I told the guy I love Honda's. The guy over at my dealership said, well... what is it exactly you want? (came of a bit rude), but I told him straight up. I cant remember what I said EXACTLY, but it went something along the lines of.... "well, I have been a loyal Honda fan all my life and wouldn't want any negative experiences with Honda..... I want it fixed for free." He said, "well, all you had to do is ask. Bring it by tomorrow and drop it off for us, we have the part in stock, we'll have it installed and ready for pick up the same day". When I went back, I wore my fake Honda pitcrew racing t-shirt I bought in China for 40 yuan. They loved it.
It sounds bogus huh? Sounds like something like that would never happen in this day and age huh? Well... it happened to me!!! The other small problem was, I didn't change out the differential fluid? Whenever I turned, I heard a clicking noise. I took it to Honda, they told me whats wrong, I bought the fluid, went to my Korean mechanic, problem solved. I knew I could have just taken it over to my Korean mech and didn't have to do two trips, but after the engine issue, I tried my luck. I don't know about other Honda dealerships, but mine in PA are really nice people. No problems so far, I hope to drive it to 200k and beyond.
Only negative thing I can say about the CR-V is... they stuffed it with a 2.4L 4 cylinder engine. IMO, a bit small for a SUV. It's noiser than sedans, eh. Also, the gas mileage isn't as good as you would think. Trusty, reliable, dependable, inexpensive to maintain, AWD utility, a near perfect inexpensive work horse.
