Sandra Lee of the Food Network show Semi-homemade presents us this atrocity.

Imagine sweet light angel cake, with heavy chocolate and cinnamon frosting, mushy apple pie filling and salty nuts. What do you get? This. A "Kwanzaa Cake".

I almost threw up after watching this. This has to be illegal in some states. And it's clearly a hate crime.

How is it a crime?

I think she means illegal as in how Kwanzaa is being used as a theme for the cake (therefore her hate crime comment)

I'm guessing the Soompi population does not understand what an exaggeration is.

That cake does not look good. Sandra lee should not have her own cooking show.

Sorta OT: I used to think Food Network was good, but the more I see of it the more horrible I think it is. They really don't have a diverse range of cooking styles. It's mostly Southern/Southwestern/Italian style cooking. And when it's not a cooking show, it's some Food Network challenge episode or food behind the scenes mumbo jumbo. I can handle the occaisonal episode, but showing them every day of the week just gets repetitive and not entertaining. It'd be nice if they could throw in ethnic cooking like Asian or Middle Eastern or any show that's just completely _different_.

The only show I really enjoy is Good Eats or Iron Chef America when it's Morimoto who's battling.

QFT. It's a miracle that this woman has not just one, but two shows.
Iron Chef Japan was the most epic show ever.

I can feel the excessive sweetness in my mouth just by looking at the photo...

I don't even like sweet stuff too much, so that's something I'd never eat for sure
