So i was just wondering,

Don't you people feel nervous or something?
Like.. if it's going to be awkward or does he/she expect you to hold hands when walking.
Or even kiss at the end of the date? Because I do. My friends just say it's because I'm shy and I should try to be normal.
Most of my friends are really outgoing and they don't feel nervous at all so they think I'm weird.

Anyhoos, how did you guys feel before your first date with your boyfriend/girlfriend? And tell me if I'm weird or not..

my very first date i was a bit excited but i was also annoyed bc the guy was sooo ugh whipped i guess. he couldnt decide what to do and kept asking me my opinion on everything and told me i should plan it and stuff. which is sweet i guess if it was any other girl :/
but now dates are just pretty casual and chill. i guess it really depends on the chemistry between the couple how much anxiety you feel.
but the shy thing might play a part too haha

^ yeah on my very first date, the guy made me decide everything - not exactly what i wanted and it kind of annoyed me because i was looking forward to being surprised.

i used to get the whole giddy, nervous feeling, but now first dates have just become like every other date.

I actually didn't even know it was a date. He asked me to go out, just the two of us, and I was a bit naive, I suppose. I didn't realize it was anything more than two friends hanging out til he whipped out three white roses. It wasn't awkward because I couldn't grasp the fact that we were on a date. Even at the end of the night, it still just felt like two friends hanging out..except there was a bit more to it... more of that butterflies in the gut feeling along with this unbelievable sense of happiness. Just don't think too much about it and try to have fun.

Lol I was dreading it.

I was laying on the couch just before he was going to pick me up AGONIZING over the fact I had to hang out with him rofl ( he asked me if i was doing anything tomorrow and i was like OH NAH I got no life man; then he caught me off card and asked if i wanted to grab some lunch)

But hey that date lead to a series of dates and now we've been together for a year =)

Lol I get so nervous every time I go on a first date with a guy.

For the last date I went on I went out shopping for an outfit every day of the week to find something that I liked. I then woke up 4 hours before we were supposed to meet to get ready. When we actually met I didn't know what to talk about and I kept looking away and messing with my hair because I was shy and nervous. Lol I prepared myself for any problems that might happen e.g. what if we had nothing to talk about? what if he tries to kiss me? what if it rains? etc

I wasn't nervous at all when I went on my first date with my boyfriend. I was pretty excited to get to know him more. However, I did get really nervous when he tried to hold my hand. Just don't think too much about it and go with the flow. It'll be fine. Good luck and have fun!

exciting and nervous.. i always try to be late at least 10 minutes to see if he wait.. hahaha.. stupid isnt it?
well i am nervous, i'm pretty shy and i try to act normal, but i still look alittle bit nerous i quess..

Mine was during Valentines so I felt really nervous. I didn't know what would happen, what would wear, etc. It turned out fine though .. we've been going out for 6 monhts

My first date with my current boyfriend was kind of awkward because I was sooort of in between a situation where I was seeing someone else at the time. I wasn't really nervous because I knew he was already absolutely crazy about me and wanted nothing more than to win me over from the sh1t head guy I was seeing already. We just went out to the arcade and had a fun time.

i miss that feeling. couldn't sleep the night before, thinking about what i should wear, try to daydream about the date, thinking how i could talk to him, wondering where he will take me, if he would hold my hand or give me a hug or anything.. would he be paying for the meal? what if something embarrassing happens?

but as soon as you meet up with him, sweat comes, probably say a few things, lots of smiling, but slowly you forget about it, and have a good time

depends how much i like the guy
if im going on a date with him but i dont exactly like him.. then i dont feel anything
sometimes i feel dreadful before a date lol
but if its with someone i like i kinda get butterflies when im getting ready.. but im ok when i see him =)

That's totally normal. I remember I was all jittery and nervous before a first date(which I regret going )..just relax and think about peaceful stuff haha
