What are the differences of both cameras?

Which one has the best features?

Is the extra $100 worth it for buying #2?

Do both of the cameras have HD movies and pictures?

Thank You

Both cameras have HD video.

Those two cameras are eh. #1 generally, people would choose that at a glance, because it's very slim and small while still having 12 mp, but because it's such a small camera, the image sensor is small, therefore those 12 mp don't always come to work. Your shots may have more noise.

#2 Is another eh camera (in my opinion). I read reviews on it and the pictures are a little on the "lighter" side (underexposed). But it has an accelerometer, and you can shake the camera to flip through your pictures.

Personally, I'd go with #1 if you're looking for compact size and decent image quality. If you're not printing huge photos, it will be ok.

There's usually a reason to why it's so cheap...

point and shoot cameras are all very, very similar.

It would be your choice.

#1 is better -- I think it has a wider lens.
