Oh well, this is good too.
I don't really like this song, but listening to it again, it's better.
It's very soothing.
I was so happy when GD himself actually appeaed instead of the cartoon.
He looked so gorgeous & that smile of his was to die for.

BUTTERFLY MV is really really sweet..... The scenes are pretty, love the animation, the storyline goes well with the song, GD's smile is so cute, the idea of the MV is really fresh and unique; luv it.
At first seeing it is an animated MV I was preparing myself to be disappointed because I was expecting the third part of Heartbreaker trilogy, but no....I should know that GD and YG won't disappoint us... This MV is awesome.... XD

I'm so excited for this Sunday Inkigayo.....GD.vs.YB...
Another Boy performance, and also the special stage... I wish he will do the Seotaiji and Boys' song with Taeyang..

And for MKMF (now called MAMA), GD got so many nominations, I hope he'll snag some awards...

^Yeah, i have a good feeling about Best Male Singer. Ah, I'm so glad GD got some nominations. (Although I'm confused on why Big Bang was nominated for Best Male group...when they haven't come out with anything this year.) Did they get rid of Best Album of the year?

I just finished watching the Butterfly mv, and it is so jjang! it was so creative and artsy, i felt like i was in the fantasy world with GD. and combined with the song itself...the mv was so soothing. is this yg's way of promoting 2 songs at a time?

OMG! i simply love the Music video!! it's soo romantic and beautiful!! The fact that the MV is not flashy (like HB and Breathe) but subtle and simple is the most attractive thing about this MV!! when i first heard the song.. honestly i was expecting a video where he is talking down the street dreaming about his dream girl!! but wow.. the animation was good and provided the feel of the song.. the only thing is that seeing an animated girl in the video was a little wierd.. if he started as an animation and turn himself and the girl into real flesh people.. i think the video would have had a GREATER impact

but nevertheless, wonderful surprised from our boy GD!! i love the ending part when he is sitting on the roof top singing "la.. la ..la.. lala...la.. that was the best

first thing that came to mind when watching the mv, why didn't he ask the animator to make the girl look like Aoi Yu? hehe. too obvious? but i thought it was quite sad he had to play along side a fictional character. but i'm fine, seeing him kiss a real girl, that would've brought out the jealous in me.

the mv was beautiful!! so sweet, and the animation was GORGEOUS! must've been a lot of work. everything was soso beautifully done. gd was so cute, the blonde boy, fits so well. but lol @ riding the pheonix (?), that made me laugh.

i noticed in the mv, there was a place called 'Eveready Diner', is it in NY only? i think kvips will figure out where the real scenes are

as for mnet awards, i'm happy he got nominated, i hope he wins at least one but i am fine if he doesn't win any. these awards thing are so not interesting to me anymore.

Butterfly MV

GD released a new MV today and the thread only jump 3 pages? where's the love VIPs haha.

the Mv was definitely GD at his creative best!! i like it sooo much that i almost forgot about A Boy MV, which i'm dying to see. its definitely a refreshing and suprising change from everything GD has done so far. i was just slightly disappointed with Breathe MV coz it seems like a repetition of Heartbreaker MV, but Butterfly has shown that GD is not only sticking to those outrageous costumes and concept look so far. the animation fits the song so perfectly well!! i love how airy and light it is. and GD looks so damn beautiful there!! for the first time i would rather see an animated GD than the real one. but i like how he became real in the end. it feels better that he's involved in it, and not just some graphic designer haha. i felt like i was in a nice dream all the while.

and i need more more more caps/wallpapers/screenshots of the MV!! coz its just sooo beautiful that its a waste if there's no numerous caps of it haha. please post if you have them! and a big thank you to those VIPs who posted them just now!!

and about the animated girl in the MV...i'm not suprised that she's animated coz VIPs will be out for blood if she's real. but anyone thinks that in order to film that, there must definitely be a female model infront of the blue screen with GD?? like the parts when there holding hands, leaning on his shoulder, and that kiss....maybe there WAS an actress after all. it will be much easier to do the animation if they have acted it out in real life. that's how such animation movies are made right? but of coz YG would not show it on YG TV without giving fans a heart attack. haha. hmm i don't know.

that aside...this MV must have cost a bomb to produce. all those design stuff don't come cheap. makes me worried if there's still budget left for A Boy. i think its unlikely we can get to see that now


for the MAMA...i'm almost positive GD will win Best Male Singer. Mnet will look at the album sales and ranks, and its obvious who sold the most. can't wait to see GD taking home the award!! i'm kinda peeved that Heartbreaker MV did not make it to the Best MV nominations though. i rather see Hearbreaker pawn all the other MVs than have the song on the list for...house and electronical genre. like how random is that haha. and i totally thinks that Butterfly deserved to be on the Best MV nominee list after today too.

i dunno what to say really?
lol. in contrast to everyone else's comments about the song and the MV, I personally didn't like that song and the MV that much..i kinda like it, but sometimes not. so i say 50/50?

maybe RIGHT NOW, i'm just not in the mood to listening to that kind of song (coz i feel depressed, and slow songs like that doesn't help... ) T_T

BUT, i do like the effects though!..totally unexpected!..GD caught me off guard!..i was like WOAH? IS THAT GD's MV?
i mean, to me...I see GD as "out there" kinda personality..."Wild" and "Confident"...so i wouldn't really think of him as "sentimental, emotional and romantic"...BUT this proves me wrong....WOW.

this CHANGE my perception of GD sooo much
and i REALIZED a couple of things:
1. GD is romantice after all
2. He doesn't really GO for PERFECT looking GIRLS... i mean, the girl in the MV (in my opinion) is such an average looking girl, i mean, the way i see GD, I THOUGHT he would prefer PRETTY, model material kinda girl?..but HE is SIMPLE after all... this makes me happy.i dunno why. because maybe, even before, i thought GD is arrogant and only likes pretty face girls...but again, this proves me wrong. the girl has short, wavy hair..hmm, average face, petite....and shockingly looks very young compared to him?...LOL.
3. he may look over-confident and intimidating on the outside, but he's soft and caring on the inside. the MV i think reflects his "real" personality, that the people might NOT know.

and lastly,
GD needs a GIRL @_@ okay, this made me LOL for a bit..haha...but, yeah... i agree with some of u guys here who have said that he look sad and lonely...i thought i'm the only person who realize that... since he debuted, even though he's experiencing so much success right now, he still seems sad and lonely..and most of his songs is about LOVE...be it searching for a girl, break-up song, heartbreak, past love etc. THOUGH, i'm just saying this coz i feel his sadness, and i don't want him to be sad...coz i feel lonely for him too...I WILL definitely, positively be uberly JEALOUSsssss of who his girlfriend would be in the future...T_T but on the other hand, i don't want to see him look sad and lonely either...so i dunno. maybe when the time comes, and he gets a girlfriend, then i think i'll JUST KEEP MY OPINION about that particular issue TO MY SELF. coz i dunno, i might say something unpleasant about the girl, and i might not be able to get a hold of myself....sigh.

okay, this post is getting long, so i'm gonna END it here.
btw, this is the first time i posted a reply this loong.
trust me, it only happens when i'm sitting alone in our house, got nothing to do, and feeling depressed.

but, overall i LIKE the whole concept of the MV, not too much going on like the previous MV, at the same time it has a laidback feel to it. totally unexpected for someone like him. i <3 it ^^

It is like a mixture of 'HEARTBREAKER'
& 'BREATHE' concept.
In a way that this very mv have a meaning
behind it - the girl being lonely,giving the longing
expression,the flown away red scarf ending
up with Kwon leadah(so-called the guardian angel)
which turns up in the girl's bedroom.
all those magical things,the fantasies that
is totally opposite from the
borring and empty world of the girl.
And on top of that Kwon leadah is really
adorable & all with his expressions which is like
the 'BREATHE' concept.

is really one of those simple,
sweet,the girl-next-door.
Just look like his preferences of girls -Sulli,
