i noticed in the MV...there was this background where
it's like the symbol of Louis Vuitton but instead of the usual
scribbles of LV, the MV had GD and an apple drawing <3
i thought it was cool how they thought of that.

Also, the baby with the headphone is a brilliant idea.
it's like showing that GD WAS BORN TO BE A MUSICIAN.

Oh my god, Boy's MV was so awesome!
It was nothing like I how I imagined it.
I didn't expect it to be all futuristic & science-like.
It was really cool though.
Although it was a little distracting with all those moving shapes & stuff.
And I've never read the English translations until now.
But, after knowing what the lyrics mean, it just made me love GD so much more, if that's possible.
He has gone through so much to be where he is today.
I love the part where he goes:
I'm G-Dragon, no matter what others say.
People say they envy me, that I have so much with me, that celebrities have a relaxing life.
Just once, try to be in that place.

not gonna lie, i was totally and when i first saw the MV. i dunno what's going on, and i was disappointed that there did not seem to be a definite theme for the trilogy MVs. its just one whole mess of graphics changing and GD in several costumes and hairstyles (and a gask mask?!)

but then i watched the eng sub of the MV, and rewatch it again and again. i think i'm just slow haha. but i finally began to notice the symbolism in the MV which relates to the lyrics, and i read the comments here then i was like WOAH. haha GD is really too creative and deep for me!! its such an ingenious MV that most people would not get the concept if they just dismissed it once after watching it (which i admit i'm really tempted to do so at first.) but i'm glad i gave it a chance and try to decipher the meaning behind everything. and what can i say? Kwon Jiyong is a genius

The only thing in this MV pissed me off is that it's so hard to capture clear pics to use as profile's image

However i still couldn't get it at all although watching it again and again, i.e the baby,the apple,the mask etc ( of cuz i know apple ~ heart, baby ~ Gd but i really dont understand what connection is b/w the song's content and images in MV T___T Poor me! )

Although I have kept my eyes into GD for more than 1 year, understanding clearly what he means is always such a tough + impossible task for me . I have to say that GD is definitely a professional in hiding his own complicated, profound thoughts skilfully behind such a cute/baby face ^^. That's why i would choose to be his best friend unhesitatingly instead of being his girlfriend . I really wanna know what's happening exactly in GD's head

Underground newcomer duo BlackOut has been the topic amongst netizens for accusations of ‘plagiarism’ of GDragon’s solo album ‘Heartbreaker’.

The duo’s new song ‘Black Out’ contains part of the melody which is similar to part of GDragon’s song ‘Heartbreaker’ which was under fire of criticisms for plagiarism when ‘Heartbreaker’ was first released.

That aside, the duo’s new album jacket is also similar to that of GDragon’s solo album ‘Heartbreaker’. And this has caused heated discussion and debate amongst netizens online.

Big Bang member G-Dragon released the music video for his song "A Boy" on Monday.

This is the fourth music video he is releasing from his first solo album following the videos for songs "Heartbreaker", "Breathe" and "Butterfly."

"We were going to release the video back when he had been promoting the song but G-Dragon requested to hold additional shoots for it so its release got delayed," his agency YG Entertainment said. The 21-year-old singer had promoted the song in mid-October.

YG went onto explain that they combined actual video of G-Dragon with 2D image for the music video, like was done for "Butterfly".

G-Dragon, currently in Japan to promote his group's third single, is set to hold his first solo concert titled "Shine A Light" at the Olympic Park on December 5 and 6.

The "Light" concert will feature performances from the singer and songwriter, plus a candid look into his 10-year journey turning from a YG trainee into the leader of boy band Big Bang.

Boy MV seems have a lot of hidden message. But it's no right or wrong answer about what you think of this MV. I'm not the type of person that think really deep but I still want to share with you guys what I think about this MV. And I hope to read yours too. I'm not really good at English so bare with me
The whole concept of GD's solo album is the apple, representing his heart. I think it has another meaning in this Mv. There are 2 apples in the beginning, a red one and a glass one. The foetus is inside the glass apple, take nutritive from it. I think the glass one is his passion for music.
GD uses 2 things to symbolize him in this MV, the golden face (sorry don't know what it's called but you know what I mean right? ) and the robot. The golden face is only what people in the outside think of him, the truth is that face is not gold, it's rusty metal. The lives of celebrities are not all luxury like what people think. You can see the golden face and the robot were both tied by a lot of wires, so tight that the golden face was damaged. The wires as many of you may guess, are the criticisms. The criticisms are also like the bullets that shoot at the apple at the beginning.
The part that interests me the most is when the glass apple is broken. His passion for music was hurt so much that it's broken. GD keeps singing "Come back to me now". He reminds himself not to let his passion go. And the pieces stick together. The golden face comes back to its form. The robot fights to be free from all the wires. GD recovers from all the harsh criticisms and be even stronger
There are many other interesting details in the MV too. Like the part "fighting against the worsened headache", we have a brain inside the apple means it's actually his heart that hurts a lot. That's why the heart transfered into
a pen. He writes lyrics that are his philosophy. He pours out his heart, like the apple is sliced into pieces. Or a green apple turns into a red one. I think it's the transformation, the grow up as a person and as an artist.
That's my thoughts about the Boy MV, what do you think? I've never write this much before in this thread

First time ever posting such a long post. Sorry for my bad english! I tried my best because i really really want to write my thoughts about GD's "A Boy" so please don't mind.

This was my first time where i nearly cried while watching a MV. I didn't expected such an sad MV and it's full of deep meanings and hints. I think no one will ever be able to understand the mysterious world which is hidden in GD's mind.

These are only my personal thoughts about the visualisations in the MV!

Let's start with the fetus in the apple. It is for sure a symbolization. A fetus symbolize sensitiveness and innocence. He was sensitiv, innocent and simple in his heart when he began with this journey. The headphones obviously standing for his one and only passion: Music.

Second Scene: The apple with the brain inside.
He is allways following his heart and is not a mind focused person. Therefore the brain is within the apple which transforms to a pen which symbolize that his lyrics are coming from his heart. Here we can see the rise up of the first protective shield which covers the apple before it transforms to a pen..

The armour. At first he was a naked fetus and later we can see him in an armour which transforms continuously in color, shape and gear. This for sure stands for his up and downs and the hard time he has. You can see the armour getting old and rusty with time and the sudden rise up of a new armour in order to protect him.

The Bullet Scene:
Here we're seeing the first protective shield again which appeared in the "apple-brain" scene. We can see that the shield can't stand the attack of the bullets and get damaged. He was not prepared and it hit him hard. Is there anything which comes to your mind when you guys reading this? Any incident which could fit in that scene? I'm not thinking about style-scandals but about massive attacks regarding his talents and music.

The cube i think symbolize his complex brain itself which has a hundred of facets and stages. U can't describe him in an ordinary way. He has more inside than the outer appearance shows.

The face mask is also interesting. It's not a normal one but a mask which protects from toxic and poison gas. Maybe a pointer to the "poisonous criticims" he's getting a symbol for that he's standing above that.

The golden armour with the strings.
He's like a prisoner which is trapped in his armour and the boundaries of his environment but he can stand it. His armour which he build is now strong enough to make a head to all the attacks.

The Robot with the strings speaks for itself. Everything stands in his way and is trying to hold him back from his freedom of mind and body.

The transformation of the green apple into the red one stands for how he has matured.

The apple who explodes and sets the fetus free.
I think this symbolize the "birth" of the "musician" because the apple rebuild itself arround the "G" which stands for the matured Ji Yong and turned into steel. Maybe a hint for more strength? A resurrection?

I have a few more thoughts about the MV but the language barriere is making me nuts. I can't say everything in the way i like. Maybe later i will try to write a second part. Hopefully you understand everything what i wrote above.
