Boy, 5, Was Behind Burglary

Police investigating a burglary at a kindergarten in Romania were shocked to find the mastermind was a five-year-old boy



Officers, in Jirlau, Braila county, were called to investigate the break in after the caretaker found a back window broken.

They found several rooms had been ransacked and initially thought the burglars were searching for petty cash.

But, after talking to staff, they discovered all that was missing was part of the nursery's collection of toys.

Detectives questioned neighbours and two boys, aged five and 13, who live nearby, admitted to the crime.

The younger boy told police he "missed his toys and just couldn't wait till school term starts again in September".

He convinced his older friend to come with him to the kindergarten where they broke in, stuffed two bags with toys and left.

waaaay too much tv. what five year old even thinks of taking something? a normal 5 yr old would just pinkberry like crazy to his parents

Doesn't it seems kind of fishy to anyone? I have a really hard time believing that someone who is 13 could easily be manipulated into stealing by his 5 year old friend. I mean, he's 13, which means he's in middle school over here. This totally spells F-I-S-H-Y! He probably lied to get out of trouble. The kid probably suggested the stealing after his little friend told him that he misses his toys.

But then, kids these days or quite "matured" at a very young age. Who knows. The little guy may be the mastermind behind this crime after all. If that is the case, that's just horrible. No matter how cute it is.
