High and Mighty Colors! look for a song called notice. their song ichirin no hana is popular and good too : )
UVERworld's songs are good tooo. my fave is colours of the heart. the last band i would recommend is korean but they have songs in japanese too, The TRAX <33 look for vampire : ) enjoy !

It really depends on what kind of style of rock you listen to

if you want really dark and heavy stuff you should listen do Dir en grey. Some good songs of theirs are Dozing Green and The Final.
the GazettE would be another band that's a little less heavy than Dir en grey.

Other good bands would be alice nine, Deathgaze, Mo'some Tonebender, Uverworld, One Ok Rock, Versailles, Girugamesh, D'espairsray, and Luna Sea.

ah, i forgot about Nightmare. They're pretty good too.
