You're right it is wrong, but I didn't find it funny, in fact I find it quite ridiculous.
It's pretty disgusting that the religion explains how black people "became" black. No offence to anyone by saying black.

I know this one former Mormon guy came to a youth group service at a church I used to go to and taught stuff about what Mormons believed in and one was that they believe that God had sex with Mary. A friend of mine who went to a Mormon church for three hours of service (her friend didn't tell her it was that long) told me that they taught that the followers could become gods on some planet. Someone else told me the gods on planets is an actual Mormon teaching too. So...if these two things are true, then how accurate is the rest?
I want to ask my Mormon friend, but I'm afraid of offending her
