It's a playlist?
Your songs are listed in the order you added them, if it's just a playlist. You have to reorganize them youself and drag songs with the same artist together.

omg that happened to me before! lol.
make sure that there's no space after the artists title for both.
like, if its: artist(space) it won't be the put in the same group as artist(no space)
lol. idk if that made sense though... :|

Oh yea I know that. That happened to me to but before the umm...."song wont go under the same artist" thingy.
I checked to make sure if the artists name was spelt correctly and the space thing. And there was no error. I even put
the: artist (space) for the artists name and it still didnt work >_<
You can see the pic on the top

If you select both folders and you right click, and click "Get info..." > "Are you sure you want to edit multiple items?" Yes.

you can check the Artist box there and that way everything selected will be with the same name.

if they fall in two diff catergories, select ALL the songs that the artist has...then "get info" and just re-type the artist's name. then it'll go under the same group

and the image u showed, it's grouped under "albums" so its normal? if ur asking bout that
