but the ones who i saw around were pretty annoying.
the same thing happened in middle school as well.
they showed up with their heelys and would always try to make friends with us..
(not that it's a bad thing, but the way they went about it was.. not right xD)
they seem to try too hard to get the older people to like them.. it's weird to see.
i always got a bunch of random facebook adds from freshmen i didn't know o.o
idk why they seem so immature to me @.@; and some would randomly show up to our parties rofl.
i didn't really like my classmates when we were freshman either, though.
the only people who seemed really chill when i was a freshman were the juniors and seniors.
of course not everyone is like that, but the ones i've been around the most are.
i'm not a freshman hater, just not a fan of people who try to hard.
which.. at my highschool many of the freshmen did.

however, the freshmen LAST YEAR, presently this year's sophomores, were horrible. they instigated fights with the upperclassmen during homecoming. we don't even have rallies anymore because of all the havoc they wrecked on us poor juniors last year! they trashed the cafeteria with their silly birthday cake at lunch business. our class of 2012 is such a nightmare.

They all have that "I'm so cool. I'm so pretty. I'm so amazing at life. I don't need school, I just need friends." look.
And yes they clog up my school's tiny hallways. =[

what happened to freshmen? not enough milk was being passed around the table in middle school?
everyone is so short. i'm beginning to think that i'm back in the hallways in middle school where everyone were short.

But yeah anyways, there are some that are annoying but most of them are alright ^^'

The instant we became sophmores, my fellow classmates were all WTF FRESHMEN ARE STUPID/ANNOYING! They were constantly bagging on the freshmen. note that the school year was barely beginning and we were freshmen JUST a few months earlier. -________________-
BUT during my Junior year (or senior yr? i forgot)..the most annoying freshmen infested our school. Class of 2011? Class of 2010? I dunno, but I seriously wanted to smack them up side their head. They were so obnoxious and kept trying to act like they were all that. I put off some required elective classes until my later high school years so I ended up with a bunch of those freshman. Blah.
Turns out, it's not only the upper classmen that don't like freshies, but even teachers (who teach mixed classes) don't

I mean, for us, it was to the point of "hate". We had people telling our class to "go back to 8th grade where you BELONG, stupid FRESHMAN", and idiotic things like that. For homecoming, the sophomores totally messed up the freshman homecoming. Like totally. That was really cruel. So what would they feel like, if they spend so many months planning out a homecoming, and the older kids decided to just screw around with it cuz they thought we were "stupid and retarded"? That's more like immature to me.
Now that I'm a sophomore, it's amazing how my classmates are doing the same to the freshman. I can't believe they've so quickly forgotten what it felt like to be treated like a trash grade. T__T
But, lol, maybe that's why older grades are so mean. Cuz they were treated badly when they were freshman, LOL. They want to exercise their power when they get older.
Upperclassmen should remember that they were probably immature freshman as well. I doubt your upperclassmen loved you either, lol. Don't hate what you once were. x]

There are some freshmen that are really immature..but there are also some upperclassmen that are really immature as well. People go through this phase either in a fast pace or slow pace. It took me until my sophomore year to be independent and take my classes seriously. Freshmen year was a year for me to get use to the school environment. I'm sure the freshmen will adapt and soon change the way they think. ^^ I'm sure many of you had changed as well...

So my school has this club called 'link crew' which is basically to help out freshmen @ Orientation, school, just in general. Basically each partner gets a group of 17 kids to interact with throughout their freshmen year. I know this might not sound so hard, but oh boy, some of them can be a pain.
And this club is just getting ridiculous. Today, they told us that we're gonna have to attend FOOTBALL game with them (because they might get 'lost'), and no acceptions. Oh, and we're gonna get their progress reports (what are we, their second mother?) and call them out for a picnic @ lunch. OH, and we have to give them goody bags for halloween. with our own stinking money. I don't get how this club is fair, ugh.
I think this club is more like turning out to be 'annoy the freshmen!' rather than help. Isn't this ridiculous? Or maybe it's just me because I have hard time interacting with snobby freshman girls in my group, hah. Wish me luck, I guess.
This is all for my community service hours, so I guess I should just shut my eyes and deal with it. *sigh*
But sticking to the topic, I think freshmen aren't bad at all, just some who thinks they're all 'cool.' :/
The end of my long rambling, sorry. aha.

this year however, i have not met one single freshman (class of 2013) that i like. the freshmen in my woodshop class just piss me off so bad! they're so ignorant and stupid and think they don't have to listen to the teacher. in fact, one of the little punks almost KILLED me 'cause he was using a tool he wasn't supposed to. besides those idiots, all the other freshman i've met or seen turn out to be morons as well.
i'm waiting for the day i meet someone from that class that will change my mind about them.

THIS YEAR's freshmen however (class of 2013) ..dear God, some of them are just so...bleh..so shallow, trend followers, hypocrites, loud, immature..and a lot of the guys and girls are the "typical" high school students..like..girls are really really girly..and love to gossip..the guys are jerks that think they are sooo cool and act like a wannabe ghetto gangster or something...not to mention they have their own annoying little groups within their grade. (ex. the "jocks" the "popular students" ..the "nerds"

But sometimes they just went off the limits.
Like, the elevator are for teachers or students who have special needs. But these freshmans are taking the elevator like it's their property. I sometimes have to urge to smack their heads, but I don't mess with them if they don't mess with me.

um..i'm in the same club you are (lols coincidence)
and honestly i don't think its all that bad, its true that most freshmen don't even need our help
but i found that in my group there were a few freshmen that would've been so lost without the program
and like..its always better to influence them positively right?
and T_T @Poop-Shoop-A-Loop: mannn i'm class of 2011 T_T
