Does anyone else follow The Voice? I didn't start watching this until a few days ago because I kept seeing it being advertised on TV and I was very bored (: This is like your American Idol, Supergirls, Million Star kind of show. It's basically a singing competition.

I think the ones I am most interested in right now are Lam Chi Ching, Victor Chan, and Stephanie Ho. Lam Chi Ching was brave enough to sing Loving You as his first song, and surprisingly his high notes were all beautiful<3. Victor Chan.. hmm, I don't know something about him just makes me pay attention to him. Maybe it's his very good Cantonese even though he's Taiwanese hahas. He had very nice 自彈自唱 performances though. Lastly, Stephanie.. wow.. she's a 16 year old girl with an amazing voice. Her On My Own performance wowed the whole audience. I love the whole "thing" (if you watch you would know) because her and Justin. Finally someone that chooses an English song and actually has no accent! (: There seems to be alot of hatred towards Lok Yan Ming because she's always acting cute LOL.

I wish they would put Gary Cao as a judge instead of as a host. Gary is worthy enough to be a judge =]

but, WORST OF ALL.
is the freaking HOST!
she literally SUCKS at hosting!! (i hope that's not harsh)
BUT really. she tries sooo hard to be funny, but obviously no one laughs
and she can't socialize with the contestants at all!! And she asks them stupid questions like what are you singing today? like everyyyy time. =="
goodness.
but maybe she got better afterwards; since i'm not watching this regularly.
i would have to say maybe Sammy probably did a good job hosting that one episode though (didn't watching, just guessing cuz of his experiences.)

anyhow, the person i remember most is definitely the taiwanese guy....(cuz he was like the best one out of the ones i heard previous to him. it was like 180 degree change).
Duno about the ones you mentioned though ^^ But I'm sure there are a few potential people, but I thinkkk I might know who they are cuz the songs sound familiar.

mmm...btw, I LOVE JUSTIN AS A JUDGE! LMAO. I duno why, but everytime the camera shoots to him listening to the people sing, I can't help but just laugh! ROFL.

I like this show too, some of the contestants are really good! especially the youngest ones, there was a 14 year old girl last time. The judges seem to like the teenagers a lot! but they can be so harsh at times. I started watching the show from episode 3 only haha so I'm not that familiar will all of the contestants.

I was told not-so-good comments from HK netizens about Gary as a host, but he's much better than the lady! o_o

I've been watching since the 2nd episode and I still don't have a favorite. The performances I've heard are pretty strong but I feel like they're going get better and better soon. And it feels like I'm watching One Million Star season 1 again. Except Prudence isn't as good of a host as Tao Zi. She's really annoying with her "silly pig" thing and acts like she's this diva. I'm glad they had Gary co-host because it would have been unbearable watching her call every contestant "silly pig". However, Gary attracts too much attention. xD I find myself more interested in hearing him sing rather than the contestants, lol.

Then there's the rumors...apparently Stephanie Ho is student under one of the judges, Chiu Tsang Hei. That's why a lot of people are saying that it's not right for him to be a judge because of that. Why couldn't they have found someone who has no connections to be a judge? There must be other muscially gifted people in Hong Kong to do this!

^ LOL TVB is pretty generous in giving Gary performance time in each episode. I find myself paying attention to his fab Cantonese more hahas.

Wow Steph is under one of the judges? She's really good though. At first I thought she was really weird.. like just something about her was off hahas, but her voice is really nice.

He's such a lively person. He even did the Wonder Girls Nobody dance at the end of ep 6!

^^ really? stephanie ho is my favourite atm, her version of on my own + desperado was amazing, it literally blew me away O_O i think the contestants on this show is much better than some hk singers out there atm~

Hahaha, ooo Gary speaking in Canto eh? I think his canto should be pretty good, cuz actually, the malaysian artists can usually speak canto very welll (ie. jasmine (fish) leong, guang liang)

honestly ive only watched a couple of episodes... so my judgement is probably not very good but...
i was rooting for one of the twins to win [the one who got eliminated earlier than his twin bro was my fav, but then his bro got eliminated soon after that too..]
i dont really like austan lam, some of his performances annoyed me for some reason? he gives off the cocky vibe [this is my point of view >< sorry]

I saw this during august in HK, but then i stopped watching it, although they are playing the old rerun episodes on the canadian chinese channel.. i don't even know whos left singing. i do like seeing the judges like kay tse, justin lo and leo ku.
i dunno, for me, most of the singing seems like high pitch screaming, and some of the contestant's english is quite bad.. but i won't say anything because they put so much effort and plus they are here to sing chinese songs. which makes me wonder why most choose mandarin instead of canto songs >.<

I have been watching this show on and off and there was this one episode that I can't seem to find the song for it. It was sung by the youger twin brother, I believe his english name is Chau Chi Hong, in a duet with Ryan Lau. It was a slow mandarin song where he was allowed to perform twice. Anyone know if there is an english name for that song or where I may be able to find it?

Hahahaha! I watched this... and fell in love with 何雁詩 (Stephanie)... along with a few others but she has my heart Can't believe she's younger than my sister and I ... and it seems like they have a lot of fun on there

There's this really annoying guy that looks really conceited... the guy that sang Wait For You by Elliot Yamin. Damn, he looks like the boys that try too hard to be cool, here in Sydney. It's a shame Stephanie and him have a thing going on (apparently).
