im prob going to get it if i say this but am they only one who things there only going to be big because of these reasons :

- sm represents them. sm is a big name in the music industry and they're very good at marketing
- they have a tomboy which makes them 'mysterious'
- jessicas little sister is in the group

i mean im sure they're very talened, im not saying they're not (ill judge them when i see them perform live)
but they come out saying they're going to a be girl group that has a concept that has never been done, but they seem pretty much like all the other girl groups
they have a leader, a rapper, power singer, dancer and a cute maknae.
there style also isnt anything new just typical pop stuff that sm produce
i guess its good that there not doing techno pop stuff but their song isnt really grabbing much attention compared to other girl groups.

also i dont get why everyone is saying the tomboy is hot? i dont think shes very hot at all and i think she would make a very convincing boy (not that being a boy is bad)

ahh but whatever its the way the industry works .. i just think im getting a little tired of all these new girl groups claming that they're fresh and unique.
im also getting a little pissed at them being so young. 14 seriously!

if it helps i think the song is pretty catchy although i wasn't keen on the rap part ... i feel like they made her the rapper only cause shes a tomboy and knows english (meaning she had better pronunciation) ... but im sure ill be proven wrong when shes starts freestyling �_�

I was a bit disappointed in the full song. After all SM was like F(x) is suppose to be a different type of girl group and be all edgy and everything. But they didn't really show that in my opinion. Then I remember SM mentioned "Euro Pop" as part of their concept...so we still have Pop in their image

I'll reserve my finally judgment of this group once I see them preform on stage and see what other songs they deliver.

SeliT: lachata doesnt have a certain meaning to it, by SM. it's just three syllables that SM thought that can bring the song's meaning out better. The song's meaning is to enjoy life better..if im not wrong..

and am i the only one who likes the song much better after its full release? The teaser is kinda too mehh for me.Like the concept cant be grasped well.. of course the full one's clearer in sending the concept to us but imo its nicer than what the 1st teaser gave.

V lol, about the affiliations..i think of course that did help somehow(for Sunny i dont really think so since not even LSM knew she auditioned for SM until much later)..and if they arent talented individuals, (blessed with at least pretty good looks) they wont get to debut.Not even if they are families with someone famous and from the same company.=\

and i think the thing that SM stresses on what's different for this group is their concept? and they do state that it's a pop dance group as well..so its not really avoidable to have similarities with other Kpop groups' idols concepts.(One example of group that is really different is FT Island imo)

but to be honnest i couldnt tell you who is who in the group.
so if the maknae isnt cute then well shes not cute >_< but to be honnest the whole cute maknae isnt really like that anymore DBSK and 2ne1 dont really have typically cute maknaes.
maybe sexy maknaes are in now �_�

before, i thought Amber's voice was much deeper than how she looked
then i saw the teaser & changed my mind.
I really like the voices in the beginning.^^
Luna looks like Kim SoEun to me in the 2nd teaser.

unless you work for the company or have any possible relation to SmEnt. then you could be completely wrong. i also respect that i could also be wrong, but tbh we're not really going to know the full truth are we?

i never said that krystal wasnt talented, i just said that i had a feeling that being jessicas little sister could of help. and to be honnest i dont see whats wrong with that. if i had that opportunity i would have taken it.

and the thing about all the other idols siblings .. maybe they dont want to be entertainers?

i feel your telling me not to judge them. but at the end of the day they're a new idol group of course im going to judge them. to be honnest every one on this thread is judging them whether it be positive or negative.

I haven't heard the song yet (can't find a link lol) but I saw the teaser, it looks pretty good =) and I agree, it does look like they spent more money on it than usual.. lol (eg. SMtown summer album MV.. that was horrible -___-)

edit: I just listened to the full song. It's a lot slower than I expected. I think it's catchy, but it's not as catchy as the other songs in kpop nowadays. I'm glad Kenzie stayed away from autotune though lol Hopefully the performances will be awesome, because I tend to like a song more (or less) after watching the performances.
